My fave contemporary romance of 2016 was Neighbor Dearest by Penelope Ward because it was really funny!

  2. 2kasmom

Favorite Contemporary Romance for the whole year is really hard. I read so many great books this year!
If I am forced to choose, I would say probably Paper Princess by Erin Watt.

  3. Jenny Dauksa Schaber

One of my faves was Absolute Zero by Anlyn Hansell. Very well written, older & established characters, great story, lengthy book that keeps you on your toes. This is the one that I recommend the most. It’s not “traditional” in any way, but I think that everyone should take a chance on it.

  4. Kate Sparks

First Star I See Tonight by Susan Elizabeth Phillips Because I have waiting so long for another in this series!

  5. Virginia C

The “Ransom Canyon” from Jodi Thomas is terrific contemporary western romance–fabulous storyteller!!!

  6. belindaegreen

Wow, you guys don’t ask much do ya?…I read so many books that were favorites, The one author that comes to mind at this moment is Mia Caldwell’s series– Faith, Love, Hope and Destiny. All 4 books revolved around 3 sisters and a cousin who owned Clique, Elite Party Planners. The stories, suspense, men and characters were such that I couldn’t put them down until I had read all 4! Wonderful series! I highly recommend it. 🙂

  7. debby236

It wasn’t a romance but Ir eally enjoyed Ashes by Steven Manchester.

When All The Girls Are Gone, by Jayne An Krentz. Great writer and one of the best reads so far this year! Lots of suspense, loved the interaction between all the players!

  9. Juli Hall

Sugared by Jamie Farrell was my favorite, it’s funny, sexy and just a really good story. The whole Misfit Brides series is great

Bounty by Kristen Ashley. I waited a long time for Deke to get his story and it was well worth the wait.

  20. Teresa Williams

A Cowboy Christmas Miracle Carolyn Browns last book in the Burnt Boot Series .The whole series was awesome.Jodi Thomas had a wonderful series as well

  21. Nancy Luebke

That is a tough question but I will give you the top 3 from the All I Want For Christmas Bundle. 1st is Debbie McComber’s 5B Poppy Lane, next is Heather Graham’s Spirit of the Season and Brenda Novak’s A Dundee Christmas. I still have 8 stories to go in that set. So there may be more. Since I’ve read more than 130 books this year, I know there are more that I haven’t listed. So many good stories out there.

  22. Trudy Dowling

My favorite is a short little Christmas story by AJ Harmon called Weighting For Christmas. It is about Kate Evans, a young lady that has dealt with being over weight all of her life with a family that is horrible to her. She finds everything including stength.

  35. Kim M

I’ve read a lot of books this year. I think The Nurse’s Newborn Gift by Wendy S. Marcus. I loved watching two characters who didn’t like each other bought together by a promise and then falling in love.

  36. Terrill R.

The Hating Game – Rom-coms are my favorite romance sub-genre and this one was one of the best I have read in a long time. I enjoyed every minute of this book. This book also had two main characters that I couldn’t help but root for and realistic humor and romance that kept me smiling, if not laughing.

  37. Pennie

Nope, not possible. I have read 183 books so far this year and most of them contemporaries so would not want to begin to pick one. I could probably make a top 10 or 15 in no particular order though because I have read some fantastic books!

  38. Jean White

Say You Want Me by Corinne Michaels is my latest 5 star book because I love that series. My all time favorite book this year is It Ends With Us.

Unbreak My Heart by Nicole Jacquelyn! This is definitely one of my favorites for 2016. There is an emotional storyline that immediately grabs you and there are complex characters.
