A Match Made Perfect by Anna J. Stewart  is the eighth book in the Butterfly Harbor. I am new to this author and series but enjoyed getting to know the characters and the small town. This was a second chance at love story for two people who were in love as teenagers but were torn apart by family. It was an emotional story that kept you wondering until the end which ended happily.

Brooke Ardell and Sebastian Evans were high school sweethearts. After the birth of their daughter Mandy, Brooke left town with her parents without a word to Sebastian or their friends. Fifteen years later Brooke finally comes to understand she would never live up to her mother’s expectations. Wanting to meet her daughter, Brooke finally returns to Butterfly Harbor. She wasn’t sure if Sebastian would give her a chance to get to know her daughter since she had left them without an explanation, but she was going to try.

Sebastian wasn’t sure why Brooke returned to town, but he didn’t trust her. He still loved her but couldn’t allow her to hurt him or Mandy again. With the help of people from Butterfly Harbor, Mandy plots to get Brooke and Sebastian to spend time together with the hope they will reunite. Can Sebastian forgive Brook and learn to trust her again?

This was a heart-warming story and even though it is part of a series I felt like reading it as a standalone was no problem. I loved seeing Brooke become more independent and grow more confident in herself. She slowly becomes part of the community and begins making friends. I’m glad I was introduced to this series and look forward to reading more books by this author.
