Feel Me: Cecy Robson always writes entertaining, sexy romances, they also have great messages for women. She often tackles tough subjects (sexual abuse, domestic violence) eloquently and thoughtfully, and her female characters are some of the strongest and most admirable women. Her heroes might be powerful, handsome and irresistible, but her heroines are, too, and they go toe-to-toe, round for round with these men as their equals in every way. Feel Me is an exceptional book, and Ms. Robson is on my auto-buy list.
Melissa Fenske is a successful lawyer who works for in the Districted Attorney’s office representing sexual abuse and domestic violence victims in the Victim Services unit. She’s passionate and brilliant at her job, and she puts the clients first. She had her own difficult childhood when her addict mother attempted to sell her when she was six, but she was adopted and grew up in a loving home with a single father, who is the District Attorney. He is battling cancer and looking for his eventual replacement, and he appoints Declan O’Brien as the head of Melissa’s unit, and she is NOT happy that he will be her boss.
Declan is a great attorney, but Melissa doesn’t feel he is committed to Victim Services, and these are the clients that need someone who will be 100% for them. She’s not going to let down the people she represents, and she doesn’t give Declan an inch. It is true he isn’t excited to be in this position, but he cares about the people of Philadelphia and wants everyone to receive justice. He also respects Melissa and listens to her. They have a mildly antagonistic and flirtatious relationship trading barbs, but their priority is working well together and getting the job done.
This makes it difficult for their working relationship when the attraction and sexual tension between them begins ramps up as they work more and more together. These two have sparks flying between them, and they are mesmerizing to watch. Both worry about mixing business with pleasure and where this will need, but neither can resist each other. They come together with a bang, but they have a lot to figure out.
Feel Me is a smart romance with an fantastic heroine, alpha-male hero, sexy times, and sigh-worthy romance, and it should be on your to-be-read list.

Declan O’Brien was always driven to take his place among Philly’s elite, working hard for everything he’s earned, including the title of Assistant District Attorney. He’s won seemingly impossible cases, so he’s furious when he’s assigned to lead the one unit he doesn’t want.
Melissa Fenske was born hearing impaired to a neglectful mother, finding solace when she was adopted by a young attorney, now Declan’s boss. As the current Director of Victim Services, Melissa’s livid when Declan is placed in the main unit she oversees. She can’t forget their disastrous first encounter. Or shake how he makes her feel.
Declan considers the assignment another step toward his political aspirations, despite that he can’t get Melissa out of his mind. Melissa sees Declan as egotistical and self-serving, kicking herself for how fast she’s falling for him. Someone as hot, smooth, and perfect as Declan isn’t supposed to want her.
In another situation with any other woman, Declan wouldn’t hesitate to take Melissa to bed. But she is the boss’s daughter, and for once, Declan finds himself wanting more than just a one night stand.
Neither counted on each other. Both just met their match.
