Flirting with the Forbidden by Joss Wood: When Morgan offered herself to Noah Fraser on a silver platter and he rejected her, she never expected to see him again. In fact, she was so humiliated, she was *hoping* she’d never see him again. When he shows up to take care of security for a charity ball she’s organizing, she couldn’t be more flustered. Then things get even more complicated. A botched kidnapping attempt on her mother sees him in the perfect place to be her bodyguard again, and that means close quarters and temptation around every corner.

Blame It on the RodeoEight years ago Noah almost threw everything out the window to sleep with Morgan Moreau… his job, his reputation… everything. Seeing her again is not only a reminder of that night, but it’s a surprising shock to find that the static burst between them is still there. His control is even better now, and he doesn’t sleep with his clients, but Morgan is a different breed altogether. Cold showers and mental exercises aren’t cutting it this time.

Spending every waking moment together is forging a relationship between Morgan and Noah. Something neither of them is looking for. They both guard themselves from revealing the pain of their pasts. But the situation they’re in – it’s just impossible to stop the walls from breaking down. Once they get a glimpse inside each other’s faults, will they magic still be there?

Oh man… Noah – what can I say. Hot, hot, hot. I could almost feel him jump out of the book. He simply crackled with life and angst. Morgan too, but to a slightly lesser extent. I mean, I loved her, but I guess I just “got” more from Noah.

Morgan’s hurdles are heartbreaking, and it’s painful to read about the things she goes through – both in the past and in the present. Having to reveal it to Noah stings, but he is utterly her knight in shining armor… and a kilt. When Noah has to face his past head-on, Morgan is there for him in spades. She gets a different reaction from him, but it’s familiar when she considers the source. It forces her to confront things from a different angle, and he does the same from his vantage point.

The story is amazing – the first chapter is a short flashback to the early incident, and it sets up the future quite well. I actually would’ve loved to see little snippets of their time together in the past throughout the book, but it might’ve been awkward – and I’m not an author. But more of their early relationship would’ve been awesome.

In even more exciting news, I was told by the author via twitter that Riley and James’ story will be told in “A Diamond for Christmas”. An anthology coming out in October with Maisey Yates and Carole Mortimer.

He can look…but he’s not supposed to touch!

Bodyguard Noah Fraser hasn’t seen diamond heiress Morgan Moreau for eight years—but the image of her naked body has been imprinted on his mind ever since! The sexy socialite was totally off-limits and it took every ounce of Noah’s iron control to walk away….

Now he’s been hired to protect her again, so picking up where they left off definitely isn’t an option. But Noah’s body doesn’t seem to have got the memo—keeping his hands off Morgan is a 24/7 battle! And how can he resist the forbidden when giving in is so irresistbly tempting…?
