From Ex to Eternity by Kat Cantrell: Cara Chandler-Harris is at a Turks and Caicos resort attending a bridal expo. She is a wedding dress designer, her sister Meredith, her assistant When she comes across Keith Mitchell, the man who left her at the altar. He is there working on the development of the island as a wedding destination.
Tropical Storm Mark messes with plans and Keith suggests an island fling. This of course, goes awry. There were so many misunderstandings in the past. He thought she lied about being pregnant, when in fact she miscarried. They need to deal with the past if they are ever going to have a future together.
“Stubbornness had nearly cost her everything. Fortunately, Keith wasn’t one to sit around and wait for life to happen.”
From Ex to Eternity is slow-paced, like island life. I didn’t connect with the characters and as a result I wasn’t terribly interested in their romance. Keith was not a very romantic man, nor did I find him sexy and Cara didn’t have much of a personality. Her sister, Meredith, was much more interesting. Alas, nothing really stood out while I was reading this book.
I would recommend From Ex to Eternity by Kat Cantrell to those who like second chance romances and don’t mind a lack of sweetness.

Thanks for the review, Allison. I like finding out what didn’t work in a book even more than what did work, because I know these are harder reviews to write and therefore are very thoughtful.
