REVIEW: Green Jewel by L.J. Evans

Green Jewel by L.J. Evans is the second book in the Painted Daisies series by L.J. Evans. I loved the first book in this series and I am just as in love with book 2. Where book 1 was about young lover finding a way in the middle of mystery and tragedy, book 2 is a enemies to lovers story with the same mystery that started in book 1.

Fee has made it her mission to find Landry’s killer, and her focus is on Asher, the new band manager. She cannot shake the feeling he knows more about her best friend and band-mate Landry’s murder and the attack on Paisley. She just needs to prove it. But when a snowstorm forces them to spend time together, it may just give her the opportunity to get the information she so desperately needs.

Asher is a broken soul with wounds from his past that he is trying to atone for. His focus is making his business a success while raising his daughter. He does not have time for Fee and her accusations. But the more that Asher and Fee open up to each other, the more they realize how much they have in common, until they can no longer fight the attraction that sparks between them. Can this connection turn into something real, or will the danger that surrounds them rear its head before they get the chance?

The mystery grows and danger is around the corner, can Asher and Fee’s love survive what comes next?

Highly recommended series that will keep you in the hunt for a killer until the next book. Can’t wait to read more in this amazing series.
