Book Info:
First book in the Going to the Dog series and is a short novella at 26,000 words.
Jack has some ‘splainin’ to do!
That’s right! Callie Lassiter’s normally well-behaved Great Dane Jack has run off and done the wild thing with the neighbor’s dog. It must be puppy love! It’s doubly embarrassing since she’s a professional dog trainer. Of course, the neighbor would have to be hot, hot nightclub owner bad boy Owen McKay, just the kind of man Callie is determined to avoid.
Owen’s comfortable with his playboy status and the hype in the media. But the ground moves beneath his feet when he gets an eyeful of the girl next door. The Dog Whisperer never looked this good! How can he convince this wholesome honey that his player days are behind him? Maybe Jill, his Great Dane can help him with this dilemma now that she’s pregnant and Callie’s dog is to blame.
Is this bad boy a bad bet?
Review:
Leashed will keep you leashed till the end with it’s funny, romantic and hot scenes.
Callie is a professional dog trainer and is very proud of her very well behaved Great Dane Jack. That is until Jack falls head over heels over Jill, her neighbor Owen’s Great Dane. While Jack and Jill left their owners nice and tangled within their leashes, they decide to hide away for an hour. Now Jack won’t obey that easily to Callie, especially if that decision takes him away from Jill.
Owen had already decided to stay away from his next-door neighbor, no matter how hot she is. She has white-picket fence written all over her, and he is happy with his playboy ways. But after Jill’s escapade he has no other option but to have close contact with Callie, since Jill is pregnant and there could be no other father but Jack.
Jack and Jill’s antics to be together and their misbehaving actions might just bring Callie and Owen together. While Callie and Owen struggle not to act upon their attraction, the chemistry will not be easy to ignore.
If you want a quick-read and like a fun and sweet romance, this story is for you.
