Reunited by a Baby Secret by Michelle Douglas: Females are the weaker sex, right? Not to be trusted or believed no matter the situation.

Marianna Amatucci had certainly lived up to that on the last week of her vacation. She had an amazing trip met a wonderful man had loads of sex and freedom. Then she returned home to her brothers, the winery and set about making herself the responsible young woman who would help her family’s grapes grow and be the best in the area. Then the stick turned pink and it wasn’t just her she was thinking about.

Ryan White never wanted to be a father, never wanted to have a family. He was a lone wolf and he liked it that way. He had been left with his grandmother at a young age and learned there that young women with children weren’t to be trusted. So he only indulged in one-night stands or holiday flings. His last holiday fling had him still imagining her though and the way they were.

When Marianna shows up to tell Ryan of her news they are both in for a shock. How will Ryan feel about becoming a daddy and how will Marianna feel about co-parenting with someone who doesn’t trust or love? Will these two be able to make things right? Or will there pasts have them on a disaster course?

We are back to the Amatucci family in this novel and it is great to be back! Ms. Douglas has given great insight into this family that we have come to love. The characters are so vivid it is like they are right in front of you. While the outside descriptions do leave a little to be desired since they are in such amazing places, you can’t beat the relationship details or the plot lines. The romance is great and the ending means tissues but huge smiles. Bonus points if you understand why her dress is yellow on the cover.
