Second Chance With the Bridesmaid by Jennifer Faye: Adara becomes more in charge of her friend Hermione’s wedding when Hermione has to dash off with her soon to be husband. Atlas’s father has been hospitalized and he has to check on him. Adara assures Hermione that it won’t be a problem to stay on top of the important details. Those are famous last words after a problem that could turn into a disaster happens.

Luckily, the best man for the wedding, Krystof, has come early and he jumps into solving the massive issue. Krystof has a history with Adara and she is afraid that will impact her running the Ludus Resort and her heart.

Kystof has become wealthy and travels from place to place. Will he be able to settle down and have a normal life? Adara comes to care deeply about Krystof again, but will a secret keep her from getting too close to him?

I liked both main characters and felt they truly grew over the arc of the story. The exotic location is charming. I have read the earlier books in this series and there is mention of them in this novel. This book works very well on its own, but you really need to read all three to get the full flavor of the series.

The love scenes take place off the page for the most part. They are still very sweet and sensuous. The wedding issues added some suspense and humor to the plot. You will have your heart warmed by this lovely romance from a very talented writer.
