REVIEW: Swept Away by the Venetian Millionaire by Nina Singh

Swept Away by the Venetian Millionaire by Nina Singh: A life changing trip was supposed to mark the start of her new life. She was excited and ready for it, but then just days before she was set to leave her life turned upside down.

Maya Talbot wasn’t sure what she was going to do. Should she still go on her trip? It was supposed to be a lovers getaway before her wedding. With no wedding would it even be worth it? How was she going to tell her family? Maybe going would buy her some time to figure out how to tell everyone.

Vito Rameri had loved and lost and wasn’t sure he was ever going to love again. Flings, maybe, though he hadn’t even really considered those in a while either. There was a strange pull this American had though. Something he both liked and didn’t like… but he did like that she was bringing back his artistic streak though.

Maya and Vito were on two very different paths, however when their paths kept colliding and then family got involved, would their straight and narrows end up at the same place?

This was an interesting book. Ms. Singh gave her readers a two very misperceived lead characters. Personally I wished she would have taken more time to develop them as they had such great promise. However within the page limitations I feel she stuck to more fluff.

The plot was great though and I love the idea of the vacation that leads to a relationship in a real way and this is a very real story. It feels like it could actually happen to anyone and that is honestly one reason I rank this story where I do it’s easy to lose yourself in something that could happen to you or someone you know.
