The Italian Demands His Heirs by Lynne Graham: Vivi and her sisters are still getting used to having their old world, very opinionated, and wealthy grandfather meddling in their lives. With her fiery personality and temper, she tends to think before she speaks and isn’t ready to go along with her grandfather’s plans for her to marry a man she hates…in name only. She’s also loyal, generous, and unafraid to speak her mind.

Raffaele has a plan for his life and being forced to marry Vivi is not a part of that plan. He comes from a titled Italian family and he’s successfully running a bank. He seemingly has it all: young, handsome, sexy, and wealthy. He’s very protective of his younger half-sister. He prefers routines, order, and schedules.

Raffaele seems to come to terms with marrying Vivi, but Vivi wants nothing to do with him. They have a tangled past, as she used to be good friends with his sister until a scandal hit. Vivi is disconcerted to realize that she’s still attracted to him despite how he treated her and what he believed about her. Convincing Vivi to talk to him, much less marry him, tests Raffaele’s control.

‘I will change your mind on that score,’ Raffaele assured her confidently.
‘One would have to wonder just how you’re planning to do that,’ Vivi remarked, sipping her
champagne, bubbles bursting against her upper lip. ‘I am not a woman who is easily swayed.’

They are opposites and they simply get under each other’s skin. She tests and challenges him in a way that no one else ever does. Their chemistry pulls them together and an unexpected pregnancy changes everything. They still have a lot to learn about each other as they plan for parenthood and navigate their own expectations of marriage.

‘So, where do we go from here?’ she muttered rather sourly.
‘It’s simple,’ Raffaele asserted with characteristic confidence.
‘It’s anything but simple,’ Vivi contradicted tartly.
‘But it still all comes down to one baseline,’ Raffaele intoned silkily. ‘Either you want me…or you don’t.’
