The Sheikh’s Secret Baby by Sharon Kendrick: Zuhal is commanding, sexy, and arrogant. He’s used to women who are always willing to give him exactly what he wants and he’s content to keep his arrangements shallow and without any unexpected complications, entanglements, or feelings. As a sheikh, he knows that he will one day have to marry and find a suitable bride.

Jasmine had a job she enjoyed at a swanky London hotel, but she needed something different. She’s finally pursuing her own dreams while raising her adorable son. Between an underwhelming marriage and all-consuming affair with Zuhal, she’s not ready for another relationship.

Zuhal’s very sudden, unexpected, and unwelcome appearance turns Jasmine’s life upside-down. After he ended their affair, she didn’t expect to ever see him again. Zuhal always moves on, but Jasmine certainly made an impression during their relationship. Zuhal’s expectations for seeing Jazz again are shattered and surprising when he learns of his son.

‘Leave?’ He frowned. ‘Weren’t you supposed to be cooking me supper?’
Her expression didn’t change. ‘There’s nothing on the go, I’m afraid. But even if there was, I seem to have lost my appetite. And quite frankly, you’re the last person I feel like sharing a meal with right now, Zuhal.’

Zuhal is taken aback by the changes in Jazz. She’s found her independence and is not quite as willing to fall in line with his wishes, demands, and plans. The chemistry that brought them together before is as strong as ever. He tempts her like no one else and she challenges him for more.

‘You will have to come back to Razrastan with me,’ he said.
‘I beg your pardon?’
His mouth twisted. ‘I don’t think my statement requires any clarification.’
‘You don’t think your statement requires any clarification?’ she repeated.

The Sheikh’s Secret Baby is a roller coaster with passion, strong wills, and conflict. Sharon Kendrick brings to life the characters and locations in this second chance romance. Ms. Kendrick develops the characters and conflict with tension, anticipation, and surprises. Fans of Lucy Monroe and Sandra Marton will enjoy The Sheikh’s Secret Baby.
