Wearing His Ring Till Christmas by Nina Singh: Chiara Pearson has been traveling to all the 
places that had been on her late mother’s bucket list. She has backpacked and worked along the way. Currently she is in Bali, working in a luxury hotel doing housekeeping. While she is working Chiara meets Evan Kim. Evan is a very successful tech businessman. He proposes that they can help each other. He needs a fake fiancee’ so he can look softer to his family for a upcoming wedding and to move ahead in business. In return for Chiara being his short term “fiancee”, Evan will make sure she gets home in time for her family Christmas. It helps also that Chiara speaks and understands passable Italian so she can help Evan with Italian clients who have come to Bali for an important meeting.
Chiara and Evan hit it off and enjoy lots of fun activities besides those pre-planned. Chiara feels like Cinderella after a professional shopper helps her pick out lovely outfits for the upcoming events. She is afraid that just like Cinderella she will only have this enchanting time until Christmas comes.
Chiara has had to deal with the loss her beloved mother so the reader can see how deeply that has affected her on so many levels. It’s so easy to feel empathy for her. Evan at first comes across as a workaholic, but he has a fun and tender side close to the surface which Chiara helps bring out.
There are many lush scenes in this charming novel. The author really brings them to life and puts the reader right into the middle. The romance is a slow build between the hero and heroine.
Wearing His Ring Till Christmas is the first in a series written by three different authors. Author Nina Singh has certainly given a fabulous start to this trilogy.
