Today, HJ is pleased to share with you Chantal Fernando’s new release: Custom Made
New York Times bestselling author Chantal Fernando brings us book two in Fast & Fury: A thrilling new series fully loaded with intense emotions and edge-of-your-seat suspense.
Cameron Davies has the job she’s always wanted—designing custom motorcycles at Fast & Fury. No way is she going to screw this up. But when her wild, sexy one-night stand ends up being the shop’s new VIP client, her life is suddenly turned on its head.
Orion Stenton radiates power, danger and, most of all, sex. His lavish lifestyle is fraught with dangers for Cam—and a far too intimate link to her past. She has to keep things professional, but it’s impossible to forget the feel of him or the way he whispers her name.
The connection between them demands far more than a quick fling. But when Cam’s past puts Orion in danger, she must face her demons if she’s going to save them both.

Moving to the beat of the song, I do a quick scan of the crowd, and one person instantly stands out to me. He’s tall, towering over the crowd, so maybe that’s what got my attention, but the more I watch him the more I can’t seem to look away.
Maybe it’s because he’s one of the hottest men I’ve ever seen with my own eyes.
Damn. Dark hair, a perfect masculine build and good sense of style…he seems to have it all.
He is one seriously good-looking man.
“How’s Pink Beauty going?” Crow asks, pulling my attention from the dance floor.
“Okay, her I can talk about all night,” I reply, dragging my eyes away.
He laughs, just as Abbie calls us all over for shots.
“To us, our friends and family,” she says, looking over at each of us. “May we feel as good tomorrow as we look tonight.”
I lick the salt from the back of my hand, tilt my head back and let the tequila slide down my throat. After picking up a slice of lemon, I suck on it until the flesh has disappeared and place it back down on the plate. Not the best idea to be mixing alcohol, but it’s been so long since I’ve let loose, I’m going to worry about the hangover tomorrow.
“Let’s go dance,” Bronte says, taking my hand and leading me back down the stairs with the rest of the
girls. The bouncer lets us leave the VIP section and we head straight for the middle of the dance floor. People part to let us through.
“Vibes” by Creed Tha Kid plays, and we all make a circle and start to dance. A waiter brings us out another round of shots, and I can’t remember the last time I felt so free.
Ariel is standing opposite me, and behind her I can see the tall man I noticed earlier standing at the bar, drink in hand. He’s dressed in all black, his dark hair long on top and short on the sides. It’s a cool look, but one that’s high maintenance, and I don’t miss that. This guy looks after himself. His eyes are currently pinned right on me, and when my own raise to his, I don’t look away.
He’s challenging me.
And I’m not going to be the first to back down.
His full lips kick up at the corners, amusement etched all over his handsome face. He’s a good-looking man, a little too good-looking, and yes, that is a thing.
But there’s something more to him, I can tell. I don’t know what it is about him, or what exactly has caught my interest, but I’m definitely intrigued.
Bronte grabs my arm and spins me around, smiling widely. “It’s nice to see you smiling again,” she says.
I didn’t even realize that I’m smiling.
“I smile,” I say. I think I just shut down a little after we lost Billie. I know she would have hated that, too.
When I turn back around, the man is gone, and I find myself looking for him, wondering where he dis¬appeared to.
I don’t know if it’s because I haven’t had sex in a long-ass time but there’s something about him, some¬thing I haven’t experienced in a long time.
Instant attraction.
That “want to rip your clothes off can’t wait until we get home” chemistry.
“Hey,” a deep voice says from behind me, sending shivers up my spine.
I turn to see the man in question looking down at me, a smile playing on his lips. His eyes are a pierc¬ing blue, and he’s so tall that I need to lift my chin up to look at him. He’s dressed in all black, shirt, jeans and polished shoes.
“What a jawline,” I mutter.
“Sorry?” he asks, leaning down to hear me over the loud music.
“I said hi, I’m Cam,” I lie.
“Ben,” he says, offering me his hand. “I couldn’t help but notice you in the crowd. You are a stunning woman.”
“You have good taste,” I reply, making him laugh.
“Would you like to dance?” he asks.
I turn to look at the girls, who are all watching us closely.
You okay? Bronte mouths, and I nod. She grins, her eyes flashing knowingly. He’s hot.
I glance over at him to see his lip twitch, so he obviously caught her compliment.
“Okay,” I say to Ben. He takes my hand and leads me a little way, giving us a little privacy but still in sight of my friends, and I appreciate that.
Face-to-face we dance to the music, my hips winding seductively, and his body moving with mine, impressively so. We aren’t touching, but our bodies are close.
“You’re a good dancer,” I say.
“You sound surprised,” he replies, smirking. The look in his gaze is intense.
In fact, everything about him is intense.
I bet he’s a Scorpio.
“Maybe I am surprised,” I say, smiling as he spins me around and brings me closer to him.
“Tell me something about you, Cam.”
“What do you want to know?”
“Do you come here often?” he asks, smirking at his own generic question.
“You trying to find out if I’m a party girl or not?” I ask, reading him instantly.
His lip twitches again. “Maybe. I usually try to avoid those. They are nothing but trouble.”
“Trouble comes in all forms,” I say, scanning his eyes. “But you know what they say…”
“What do they say?”
“Better the known devil. Are you sure you’re ready for another kind of trouble?” I ask boldly. I don’t know where this is all coming from, but I can’t seem to stop the words coming from my mouth.
“Why do I feel like when it comes to you, the answer is always going to be yes?” he replies, brow furrowing in momentary concern. He tilts his head to the side. “I’m fucked, aren’t I?”
You and me both.
