Hi Jane and welcome to HJ! We’re so excited to chat with you about your new release, Earl to the Rescue!
Please summarize the book for the readers here:
Who needs a knight in shining armor when there’s an earl at your side…?
Gwendeline Gregory doesn’t know what to think when she encounters the dashing Alex St. Audley, Earl of Merryn. She’s in over her head in London Society, trying to fend off a scoundrel who will stop at nothing to ruin her.
On the brink of a devastating scandal, the earl arrives just when she needs him most. But are his motivations trustworthy? And can he avert ruin for both of them?
Please share a few Fun facts about this book…
The Alphabet of Earl to the Rescue
- E (EARL) is for edging toward love when hemmed about by all sorts of rules and obstacles and complications.
- T (TO) is for trying to understand even when you have very few opportunities to talk alone. And when one of you doesn’t want to spoil everything by revealing an uncomfortable truth.
- T (THE) is also for taking your fate into your own hands and not taking evasions for an answer.
- R (RESCUE) is for rising to the occasion when threatened by an utter blackguard. And becoming the girl who can stand up to him.

“What’s your favorite story of rescue?” Generally, a human rescuing a dog or cat or other adorable critter. If it’s in the world of romance, I strongly believe that every romance should involve a person of high status, either noble or royal.
