Today it is my pleasure to Welcome author Mira Lyn Kelly to HJ!
Hi Mira Lyn and welcome to HJ! We’re so excited to chat with you about your new release, Just This Once!
Please summarize the book for the readers here:
He can’t have her.
So he moves in with her…
What could possibly go wrong?
As heir to a chain of luxury hotels, Sean Wyse III always gets what he wants. So when he sees a freeloading roommate taking advantage of his spunky best friend, Molly Brandt, he doesn’t hesitate to step in. He kicks out the roommate…and moves himself in.
Molly loves quality time with Sean, but spending nights with him one wall away threatens to wake the crush she thought she’d gotten over. A crush Sean knows nothing about, which might be a problem…considering how hard Sean’s been working never to think of Molly that way.
Please share a few Fun facts about this book…
Just This Once, book 3 in the Wedding Date series, came out this month, and I’m super excited to share three fun facts about Sean & Molly’s friends-to-lovers love story!
- Sean & Molly are mouthy as all get out and from about the first day I landed on the idea for this series, they’ve been angling to budge to the front of the line lol! They did not want to be book 3 and kept whispering sizzly somethings in my ear to the point that I had to keep a separate notebook for them while I was writing the first two books. LOL.
- Friends-to-lovers stories are my very favorite! Probably because my own happy-ever-after started that way!!
- As eager as these two were to hit the page, I don’t think I’ve ever had a couple with quite this much at stake keeping them apart. Best friends as close as family for more than a dozen years and part of a core group of friends… Sean and Molly have more than their share of reasons not to rock the boat. But once that first sizzly wave strikes… well, things are about to get fun!
Thanks for blogging at HJ!

Marriage of convenience stories are so much fun to read. Love the animosity, the dance and then the realisation.
Sonia
I enjoy many but my favorite is enemies to lovers because they are usually messing with each other trying to get the upper hand, they hate with a passion that eventually ignites:)
Debra Guyette
I enjoy enemies to lovers. It makes for great conflict.
rachael

Mine really changes depending on my moods.

Marriage of convenience it fits so many different time periods and scenarios. I love the moment when one of them realizes they’ve fallen for their partner and they aren’t sure how they should handle their feelings and they wonder if the other partner feels the same way.
Natalija
May/December closely followed by marriage on the rocks. Books with these tropes feature flawed, realistic people I can actually relate to.
Daniel M
the everyday guy who steps up, enough with the billionaires

enemies to lovers. I love the journey and the push and pull to falling in love 🙂 thanks for sharing!

Friends to lovers. I think that relationships are more likely to last if the couple are friends.
Nicole (Nicky) Ortiz
Friends to lovers
I love how the characters got to really know each other before it turns to love
Thanks for the chance!

Second chance….be cause sometimes the love is still there just bad timing. I love when an old love rekindles!

My favorite trope is a toss-up between enemies-to-lovers and Marriage-of-convenience. While E-to-L is the perfect set-up for romantic tension, MOC is all about discovery and tends to be slow-burn. Both of which I enjoy.
Anita H.
My favorite is the older brother’s best friend ones. There’s just something about those guys trying their hardest not to fall for someone that’s a bit off-limits that makes it fun!
Irma
Enemies to lovers! I love angst.
Rina H
Second chances because people deserve another try
Laurajj

It’s shifts but I’m into fated mates right now.

My favorite trope is enemies to lovers, because of the conflict between the hero and heroine.
Jen B
I like sibling’s friend because there is a lot of history and a completely different relationship at first.
KV
I like friends to lovers stories.
