    Jayne Ann Krentz/Amanda Quick/Jayne Castle – quirky, fun characters. Murder, She Wrote type murder mysteries set in the past, present, and future with lots of humor and dust bunnies! (backlist also as Stephanie James and others. She’s also written A LOT of books).

    Nalini Singh (except her Guild Hunter series as vampires are not my cup of tea, but everything else of hers I love! Gimme, gimme!)

    Shannon Stacey – she writes about regular people and makes it interesting with a lot of humor.

    Carla Neggers – fun suspense set internationally or in a small-town depending on which of her current series. She’s also got an extensive backlist.

    There are lots of authors that I reach for “greedily.” Teresa Romain never fails to write a delicious novel. Julie Klassen sparkles! Ella Quinn, Jennifer Faye, Ally Broadfield all write terrific books. Valerie Bowman, Amelia Grey, Anne Barton, Amanda Grange, and Tessa Dare are also ones I liked to be surrounded with. I have also discovered some really terrific authors this year and hope others will check them out. Some of them are: Kathleen Bittner Roth, Sarah E. Ladd, Christi Caldwell, Melanie Dobson, and Laura Frantz. I’m really open to all authors because you never know when you’re going to discover another new favorite!
