In Jade’s Treasure by Ana Krista Johnson, Jade Sawyer wants to manage the family’s mountain resort and design her jewelry in peace. Of course not to mention that she wants to remain man free for as long as she can. But things will go downhill when the Jade’s-Treasure-by-Ana-Krista-Johnsonnewest guest arrives.

Matthew Riley McLaughlin needs time alone away from everyone to write and research about an old legend of a buried treasure for his next book. So he booked his stay at a mountain resort under an alias he uses when he wants to be left alone, otherwise he has women flocking to him just for his fame and money. But when he arrives and finds the lovely Jade chopping wood, he may just be in for an adventure he had not planned but definitely wants.

Soon Matthew convinces Jade to help him look for the treasure and tell him about the legend. Since her father investigated and wrote about it she is one of the few people who knows the most about it, but no matter how many have searched, so far none have found the treasure that the letters and legend tell came from the true love of an Indian girl and a city boy.

As Jade and Matthew spend more time together they will begin to grow closer together, but because of her past Jade is afraid of leaving her comfortable and safe life. And once she learns the truth about Matthew’s identity and his real reason for being there, her fears may become too much for her to try and take the happiness that he has brought to her life. Now it will be up to Matthew to prove to her that she can fit into his world and that his love for her is true. And maybe, just maybe the legend of the hidden treasure will help them see how true their love is.

For a sweet and entertaining read, don’t miss Jade’s Treasure by Ana Krista Johnson.
