Love in Straight Sets by Rebecca Crowley: Regan Hunter was an amazing tennis player. At the top of her game she knew she just had one more tournament to win, the Barons. The only problem was she kept going through coaches and she knew she needed someone to give her the extra edge. Not to mention those things that shall not be mentioned, panic attacks, were coming more and more frequently these days.

LISTBen Percy had it all and was on top of the world. He had won the top tennis prize, he was young and could have any/all the ladies. Then he woke up and his dad/business manger was gone, his credit card was being rejected and he was no longer welcome in his homeland. He was on the bottom and in a foreign country. Fast forward and it was looking up, he had a degree, a house and was working.

Ben needed a start to his professional coaching career and Regan needed a coach when the two of them met they didn’t realize how much they needed each other. However the road to happiness isn’t always easy, after all don’t they say not to mix business with pleasure? Not to mention throwing in an over protective Scot as a manger and a pain in the rear ex boyfriend, you realize that it’s not an easy road to travel.

Rebecca Crowley takes you through a young woman’s heart, her ups and downs, her fears, her hang-ups and her frustrations. There are moments in this novel where you stop to think I know exactly how she is feeling because Crowley’s explanations and descriptions are so real and so vivid. The romance level of this book creeps up on you as you are reading and is sweet and perfect for a light day.

Ms. Crowley Game. Set. Match. You’ve hit a winner with Love in Straight Sets.

Regan Hunter came to tennis late in life, but she’s worked hard to become one of the world’s top players. Beating the odds has made her unstoppable on the court and neurotically controlling off of it. So when her manager hires a new coach, a has-been who left the sport after a scandal, Regan wants him gone, fast.

Ben Percy, a former Grand Slam winner, is well aware of Regan’s reputation for driving coaches away—usually screaming. But working with the notoriously mercurial Regan could be just the break he needs to take his career to the next level, and he’s never been one to scare easily. He must stick to only one rule: hands off Regan.

Keeping his distance from Regan is more difficult than Ben ever imagined. Behind her tough, sexy exterior is a woman he wants to get to know better. And Regan feels a connection with her patient, easy-on-the-eyes coach that’s hard to ignore. But with the biggest championship of all on the line, romance may be completely out of bounds…
