Swept-in-the-Rich-Man’s-WorldSwept Into The Rich Man’s World by Katrina Cudmore: Floodwaters come in all sorts of shapes, sizes and products; water, emotions, reality and so forth. Sometimes though the ones that can sweep you away aren’t the ones that sweep you back.

Aideen Ryan had lost everything in the last couple of years. Her relationship, her business and perhaps what hurts the most was losing her self-confidence. Now just as things were starting to be rebuilt the waters of Ireland are crashing in on her home, her studio and her business. Why now?

Patrick Fitzsimon knew what it was like to lose the most important things to you. He reacted by going further and further into his business. As a result he was now a very rich and a very lonely man. So when a soaked stranger shows up at his house in the middle of the night he’s not really sure what he needs to do, other than protect.

Will Aideen and Patrick figure out some sort of compromise to help them both get back on track? Or will they be so stuck in their own fears that they end up living there?

Ms. Cudmore has given her readers a very interesting read with this novel. While sticking true to being a romance novel it struck me more as a growth novel. The growth two people who were given hard situations and forced to make the best of things. She does insanely well at helping the reader to understand the mentality of the main characters and makes them so real, emotionally, that your heart goes out to them. While tame in the sense of heat, the high level of emotions portrayed may just burn your soul.

I’ve not read a Forever Romance either, but it sounds good. Thanks for your review .
