The Corner of Forever and Always by Lia Riley: Tuesday is working on a fresh start. She pursued her dream of being on Broadway and was chewed up and spit out by her sleaze ball ex. Until she figures out exactly what’s next, she’s using her acting skills as a princess at Happy Ever After Land, the local amusement park in Everland. She’s quirky, effervescent, fun, charming, generous, and a bit of a hot mess. She’s perpetually late, messy, and is always forgetting where she’s put things.

Beau is the competent, commanding, and oh so sexy mayor of Everland. He’s currently pulling out all the stops to have the town designated as a “Crown Jewel” in an effort to bring back tourism, so the pressure is on. He’s passionate about his town and the residents, but he’s a bit gruff and closed off to new relationships after losing his wife.

Tuesday and Beau are complete opposites and they drive each other crazy. They attempt to avoid each other as much as they can in part due to their immediate and overwhelming attraction. Tuesday no longer trusts her own judgment in men and Beau doesn’t want a repeat of his marriage. They are safe in their assumptions and stereotypes of each other, until their paths cross at the amusement park.

“A gift, huh?” Beau took his seat and glanced over, the rare twinkle in his eye replacing his usual penetrating stare. “What’s it called. Humbleness?”
“Did you just make a joke, Mayor Marino? Quick, someone check out the window and tell me if there’s a flying pig.” Hearing Beau speak fluent sarcasm was unsettlingly. Her sanity found it much easier to keep him in a sexy-but-too-stiff-and-bossy box.

They share an amazing kiss that neither can forget. They battle their attraction and vow to stay away, but they often cross paths through mutual friends and official town business. They finally get to see a different side of each other as they try to become friends…but they can’t quite manage to remain only friends. Their relationship is more than they expected as they challenge each other.

“You probably think I’m crazy,” she muttered.
“Let’s be clear.” He removed his helmet. “I definitely think you’re crazy. But here’s the important thing. I think I like it.”

The Corner of Forever and Always is fun, entertaining, and heartwarming. Lia Riley created a charming opposites attract story with fairytale elements. Ms. Riley provided a rich cast of dynamic characters from their family and friends to the opinionated neighbors and gossips. The Corner of Forever and Always can be read as a standalone in the series. Fans of Jen McKinlay and Laura Drewry will enjoy The Corner of Forever and Always.

Fairy tales aren’t ever what they seem . . .

Tuesday Knight’s dream of Broadway stardom has flopped, leaving her unemployed and brokenhearted. Ready to quit kissing frogs and make her own happily-ever-after, she takes a job as a princess in Everland, Georgia’s historical amusement park.

Mayor Beau Marino lives an unenchanted existence-all work, no play-which is fine by him. After his marriage ended in disaster, the last thing he wants in his life is more drama. But Everland’s new free spirit has a talent for getting under his starched collar.

When the town’s beloved but bankrupt park might be shut down, Tuesday and Beau face a choice. Can they join forces, save the day-and each other? Or will their fierce battle of wills destroy any chance of a fairy-tale ending?

In the tradition of New York Times bestselling authors Kristan Higgins, Jill Shalvis, and Marina Adair, comes the second book in Lia Riley’s Everland, Georgia series about two city sisters finding love in a small town.
