So many to choose from – one would be Shards Of Hope by Nalini Singh. The wait for Aden’s story was worth the wait and the new future for the Arrow squad.

  7. krystle

  9. Patti (@TheLoveJunkee)

There were so many great books! I loved The Martian by Andy Weir, Manwhore by Katy Evans, Radiance by Grace Draven, to name a few. All excellent writing and world building.

  10. Kara

So many to choose from..I just found out about Karolyn James novels, so any of those! I love a rock star romance.

  11. katielowden

Mine would be Mardow, Tarryn Fisher. It made me think and had so many emotions!

  12. Kathy Church

I’d have to say anything by Maggie Marr. I just started reading her this year and have read several of her books and liked them all. Spicy and funny!

  13. Patricia B.

I have no idea. The series I have enjoyed the most was THE BACHELORS OF BATTLE CREEK by Linda Broday. She gives a real feeling of place and characters you want to get to know.

  14. Meredith Miller

The Nightingale, At the Water’s Edge (Gruen), and I finished the entire Charley Davidson series…can’t wait for the next one!

  15. Gaby Paniagua

Eighteen by HA Huss because I was in a looong book slump and I decided to pick this one up. After I finished it just reminded me why I love reading so much!

  16. ELF

Hmm…tough to choose just one! I really enjoyed Jim Butcher’s “The Aeronaut’s Windlass” because it is such a great combination of imagination and exciting adventures, I fell in love with Kaje Harper’s stories because there were so many great characters to love, especially the couple of guys featured in the ‘Life Lessons’ series, Mary Balogh’s “Only a Kiss” because this is one of the historical romance series that I have enjoyed over the past couple of years and I have been waiting so long for this character’s story…and there are so many more, lol. Thanks for the giveaway!

  17. Ann Waters

I have read so many books, trying to pick just one is like trying to find the silly needle in the haystack.

  18. Lori P

I really enjoy Secret Sisters by Jayne Ann Krentz. She always does romantic suspense right.

  19. erinf1

I’ve read a lot this year and had a lot of great reads! but I’m going to read on the top, Magic Shifts by Ilona Andrews. Mainly cuz I love this series, and it just keeps getting better and better with each new book. I anticipate each new book, all year, so it’s always a pleasure to dive in 🙂 thanks for sharing!

  20. Denise Van Plew

Really several this year but kinda sad to see two series go one by Kim Harrison, and one by Jeannie Frost

  21. Mandy R

Mine would have to be When a Scot Ties the Knot by Tessa Dare. It’s just so funny and perfectly anachronistic.

  22. Mary Preston

My favorite read of 2015 has to be THE DAUGHTERS OF MARS by Tom Keneally. Beautifully written & fascinating.

  23. vadensmommy1

It would have to be gena Showalter heart breaker series the Hotter you burn.
That book made me laugh, cry and smile. I’ve been homeless and both my parents and grandparents are dead. So I could feel what the main character was going through. It has got to be one of my all time favorite series

    Thanks for the chance
    HAPPY HOLIDAYS
    GOOD LUCK EVERYONE

  24. AmandaS

There have been so many amazing books this year but the first one that pops in my head is Risking It All by Tessa Bailey. This is one of my favourite books from this year or any year! It’s absolutely on my keeper shelf! 🙂

  25. Anita H.

That’s a tough question but I’d go with Jill Shalvis’ Still The One. The Animal Magnetism series is one of my favorites, I love how resilient Darcy is and how persistent AJ. I laughed and I cried and that makes a great book to me!

  26. Jenny Dauksa Schaber

The Risk by Skye Jordan – I just related so well to the characters and what they were going through.

  27. Irma

The Deal and The Mistake by Elle Kennedy, King and Tyrant by T.M.. Frazier and Sweet Soul seris by Tillie Cole.

  28. angela smith

i didnt get to read many books this year.there was so much going on but one i really enjoyed was Second Chance Summer by Jill Shalvis..because Aidan Kincaid is a firefighter and a heartbreaker. and who doesnt love a firefighter.my kind of book

  29. Amber Terry

Probably Doctor Sleep by Stephen King or Burning Dawn by Gena Showalter because I really loved the characters in both books and the stories kept me turning the pages!

Thanks for the chance to win 🙂

  30. Amanda Brown

Its super hard to choose one but I think it’d have to be Eighth grave by Darynda Jones. Thanks for the chance.

  31. Susan T.

There are so many. Hope Town series by Harper Sloan, any of Kristen Ashley, BDB by JR Ward, The League by Sherrilyn Kenyon…

  32. Lisa Brown

Not easy to pick one if you like a particular genre. I read “To Shield the Queen” by Fiona Buckley. Set in the Elizabethan era and a murder mystery, my favorite genre. It was the first in the series and an excellent one.

  33. Laura Lovejoy Brunk

There are soooo many favorites ! Top of my list would be The Virgin and The Queen by Tiffany Reisz

  34. Marianne W

So hard to choose! I found Kristen Ashley this year and read all of hers — HUGE fan! I also read Lev by Aurora Belle It is probably my favorite stand-alone this year. Loved everything about it!

  35. laurieg72l

Vicki Lewis Thompson’s Midnight Thunder A touching story of a loner who finally goes back home to find the love he deserves. I admired Cade as he accepted himself as being imperfect but finally realizes that he is able to love and be loved back. He’s strong willed, honorable and hard working too. Lexi his old girlfriend has matured and is intelligent. A trait I like to have. The chemistry is exciting and palpable. VLT makes these characters come to life for me. I was cheering them on to reach their HEA!

  36. Cheryl Hastings

I’m not sure I could pick just one. If You Only Knew by Kristan Higgins and Getting to Her by Erin Nicholas definitely come to mind.

  37. Janet W.

At the top of my 2015 list would be X by Sue Grafton! I have enjoyed reading her entire alphabet murder mystery series and really enjoyed this one!

  38. Jennifer Taylor

Its hard to choose. My top three would be Slammed By: Colleen Hoover. After By: Anna Todd. Beautiful Bastard By: Christina Lauren.

  39. Christy

Although I’ve enjoyed many books this year, I’m not sure if one stands out above the rest. Possibly Burying Water by KA Tucker, but it was actually published in 2014–I just didn’t discover it until January.

  40. Natalie

The best book I read in 2015 was Unbroken because it is an incredible story!

  41. JenM

It’s not a 2015 release, but the best book I read this year was Written In Red by Anne Bishop – it totally blew me away. I loved her world building and the story.

  42. Maureen

My favorite was Sustained by Emma Chase because it made me laugh during a miserable time.

  43. HaddieHarper

Well, I did compile my 2015 favorites, and I did not have it in any particular order, but the top favorite is The Healer’s Apprentice by Melanie Dickerson. It tops my list because I am a total sucker for a good, clean romance, for fairy-tales. And the author has a knack for taking a good, well known story and turning it into a wholesome tale, with a Biblically based plot. ♥

  44. lraines78

I loved a lot of books and one of my favorites was Kristin Higgins The Nightingale. I loved the story about WWll. I hear it is going to be made into a movie although I am sure the book will be better than the movie.

  45. Tammy Y

Navy Seal Spy by Carol Ericson – Great read – fast moving plot, likable characters

  46. conniefischer

I have a lot of favorites from this this year, however, I think “The Painter’s Daughter” by Julie Klassen really stands out for me. Very good book!

Happy New Year to everyone. This has been a fabulous contest!

  47. belindaegreen

Wow, you don’t ask much do ya?! I read some great books during the year. I think I’ll put a couple of series at the top of my list…both by Miliy Taiden: The Paranormal Dating Agency and FUR-ocious Lust. She is one of my favorite authors. I love these series because they were short, connected standalones, funny, and engaging. The covers were also yummy! I’m psyched that the Paranormal Dating Agency series will continue! YAY! My hope is that she may add to the FUR-ocious Lust series too. Milly??! 🙂

Of course there are more favorites on my list but these will definitely be re-reads. Thanks for the opportunity to share.

I loved the 12 Days Appreciation Giveaway! It’s been much fun. 🙂

    Belinda G

  48. Linda Henderson

I would say Devoted In Death by J D Robb because it was a very compelling story and had all the characters that we’ve all grown to love.

  49. Christine Maria Rose

One book to rule them all? So hard! I had it narrowed down to 15 but if I have to choose one I’m going with Opening Up by Lauren Dane.

  50. lorih824

Dark Ghost by Christine Feehan because she’s one of my favorite authors and I’ve enjoyed that series since the beginning 🙂

  51. Allison W

I finally finished Shannon Stacey’s the Kowalski series which I loved. Also, the Royal We was great, because who doesn’t love royals, and it’s a spin on the actions which was great.

  52. Ellen C.

Amy Reichert’s The Coincidence of Coconut Cake was one of my favorites. Enjoyed the relationship between the main characters and the tour of good things to do in Milwaukee.

  53. Andra Dalton

That’s a tough question with all the books that I’ve read this year!!! There are so many marvelous books out there!!! It’s not easy to just pick one as they’re all special to me for different reasons!!! Long before I discovered Janet Evanovich I ran across Sara Paretsky & her laugh outloud style so one of my favorites would have to be her book Brush Back. Sometimes I just need to decompress after a heavy read & this provides me with a good belly laugh, a strong female lead, plus a mystery, making me smile, & my heart lighter!!! Thanks so much for the opportunity to win & good luck to all who enter!!! Happy Holidays to all!!!:)

  54. Debbi Wellenstein

Eighth Grave was a lot of fun, but the best book I read in 2015 was The Girl on the Train.

  55. kim amundsen

New world rising book 1 and New world Ashes book 2 by Jennifer Wilson a new author who I have feel in love with her books. They are Young Adult but they suck you in when reading them.

  56. swbookworm

Having to pick one is excruciating. However, I have to say the one that made the biggest impact on me would be Heart-Shaped Hack by Tracey Garvis Graves. It had just the right blend of humor, sexy, and intriguing plot twists.

  57. willie71

Any book in Robyn Carr’s Virgin River series, best books I’ve ever read.

  58. JoAn V.

There have been so many that I enjoyed this year but if I have to pick just one it would be Trust No One by Jayne Ann Krentz.

  59. joab4424

Play It Again (PRG Investigations #2) by Ashley Stoyanoff was my favorite book in 2015. It’s full of romance, suspense, some erotic love scenes and on-the-edge-of-your-seat drama.

  60. jodi marinich

i would have to pick Indebted series by Pepper Winters.her writing is great

  61. Sue G.

Not sure I could pick just one. I loved First Touch by Laurelin Paige, Vindicate by Beth Yarnall, The Art of Sinning by Sabrina Jeffries, Barefoot with a Bodyguard by Roxanne St. Claire, This Heart of Mine by Brenda Novak, Slow Burn by K. Bromberg, and Dare to Seduce by Carly Phillips.

  62. Gail S

It’s hard to pick just one. It’s like “book boyfriends”, one is good till you start a new book. 😀
I have favorite authors & series and one of a kind type books. I like Jaci Burton’s “Make Me Stay”, I just finished it. I like anything that Kim Harrison or Faith Hunter wrote/write. Tiffany Reisz is another #1 author for me. I just can’t just pick one book or author.
    Happy New Year Everyone!

  63. Glenda

I read SO many excellent books this year! I can’t even choose a top 10 list of books, much less a number one…. I just started Grace Burrowes, AXEL from her Jaded Gentleman series and am loving it!

  64. Leanna

At Wolf Ranch by Jennifer Ryan, this is the first book I read by Jennifer Ryan and I loved it, I had to get every single book she had written, I love her Montana Men and The Hunted series, she has a new book out next week I can’t wait.

  65. Marcy Meyer

The Air He Breathes by Brittainy Cherry. I love the deep, emotional element to the story. It is heartbreaking in some ways, but filled with hope too.

  66. Dee Swan

Corrupt by Penelope Douglas! Totally blew me away! Loved it! The writing was outstanding and the plot was so different than what I am used to reading!

  67. Gabrielle Kelly

This year My favorite books I read were Archer’s Voice by Mia Sheridan and The Golden Dynasty by Kristen Ashley.

  68. V

Hold On by Kristen Ashley. It has the perfect mix of romance, chemistry, suspense, humor, and everything else

  69. Pennie

Looking over my list of 2015 reads, I have 145 to choose from and the ones that top my favorite list are the ones that left the biggest impression and stayed with me. First Kiss by Laurelin Page left off on a cliffhanger which left me crying NOOOOOOO but tops my list along with Denial by Lisa Renee Jones, another cliffhanger but worth the hanging until the next installment. I have read light-hearted, sensual, erotic, mystery, thrillers, romantic suspense, and all sorts of others in between. If you ever need a recommendation, come talk to me…

  70. Judy S

I’ve read so many it’s hard to choose. But I have to say I really enjoyed Until You by Jeannie
    Moon.

  71. Bube

Christmas Ever After by Sarah Morgan – wonderful Christmas contemporary romance 🙂
    Happy New Year!

  72. Melissa Teears

It didn’t come out in 2015 but I was late to the game and finally read 50 Shades of Grey. It was my favorite read for this year out of all of the others that I read.

  73. Kim

Seriously TOUGH question. I’ve read so many good books this year, I couldn’t possibly manage to figure out how to list them.

  74. Colleen C.

Vivian Arend’s books, Mallory Crowe’s, Laurie London and many more!

    • Lori Meehan

I’ve read so many awesome books this year, but the last one was the best. If could of given it a 10* rating I would’ve. It’s Texas Lullaby by Cynthia D’Alba.

  75. Sherialyse

My favorite book that I read this year was If You Only Knew by Kristan Higgins. I shed lots of sad & happy tears!

  76. Lori Meehan

I’ve read so many awesome books this year, but the last one was the best. If could of given it a 10* rating I would’ve. It’s Texas Lullaby by Cynthia D’Alba.

  77. peggy clayton

It’s a toss up between Jennifer Fayes and Kimberly Kreys books released in 2015 as they are both really good writers with really good reads

  78. Cathy P

Too many to choose from. Anything by Suzan Tisdale, Tawny Weber, Sue-Ellen Welfonder, Katharine Ashe, Lauren Smith, Madelyn Hunter, Callie Hutton, or Erica Ridley. Can’t lose with that line up..

  79. veRONIca

Come to Me Quietly by AL Jackson. That book moved me so much! It is such a beautiful book! Highly recomment it!

  80. ndluebke

I’ve read a lot of great books this year, from a knife throwing heroine to one heroine training to e a nun. I’ve enjoyed most of them but the one that made the most impact and has stayed with me the most, is a non fictiobook called “The Last Chance Mustang” by Mitchell Bornstein. I guess I was sheltered as a child. My heart weeps from some of the ways we Americans treated these beautiful animals.

  81. clickclickmycat

I don’t think I had one this year. I worked my job more than I did anything…including reading.

  82. Lynn Brooks

    Country by Danielle Steel

I have enjoyed many of her books over the years, but that one I enjoyed even more than normal. It was a bonus that it was about a country music star and I’m a big fan of country music … *grin* … but the turmoil of the story is what drew me in. The main character lost her husband unexpectedly, but she had been mad at him for cheating on her previously when he died, so she was not only grieving what might have been with the guy she had loved all of those years, but she was also still mad at him, but then feeling guilty because she had been angry with him in the last bit of time before he died. She was basically a mixture of all emotions. Then she met this musician that she fell for, and had to deal with her adult kids anger and resentment that she wanted to date again, etc. I just really connected with the angst! <3

  83. Julie Parrish

Hard to choose but Im still reading the Fern Michaels Sisterhood series.

  84. formerteach

so many wonderful books this year, but Hollywood Dirt by Alessandra Torre probably made me smile the most, because it was such a happy place to be.

  85. Lisa Downs

Robyn Carr – Cedar Ridge series. Jill Shalvis, Lori Foster, Susan Mallery, Carly Phillips. Everything they write tops my list!!

  86. Bev Sten

To many to name! My go to’s are Jill Shalvis, Jill Sanders, Kristin Higgins, Carly Phillips, Toni Blake, Samantha Chase, Stacy Joy Netzel and on and on

  87. Kim

Hero and Moonlight on Nightingale Way by Samantha Young and Still the One by Jill Shalvis were some of my favorite books! All of these books had great characters and stories.

  88. Donna B

Servicing the Target by Cherise Sinclair. A close second is Caged by Lorelei James. Great contest!

  89. Donna B

Forgot to say that I love both series and the books stand at the top of both artist’s works. Great characters and well-written plots make the books worth the read.

  90. Inga

I enjoyed Betting On Forever by Felice Stevens because the characters were easy to fall in love with and keep me interested.

  91. jovialvampyre

Rachel Vincent’s MENAGERIE because it’s a well written, thought provoking book, and unlike any other out there at present.

  92. Sandy X

Just the Way you Are by Barbara Freethy. Even though this book has been released for a few years and I just discovered it this year, I love it.

  93. ov099

Looks like it was mostly my rereads that were the best – and I hit some that I haven’t reread in years this past summer – older Lori Wilde ones, for example. But then in the brand new category for this year, the last two Doescher Shakespeare Star Wars books – at least until he hypothetically announces that there will be a book for Episode 7 that is. 🙂

  94. Vicki

I’ve read so many it’s hard to choose but I love reading Jill Shalvis, Susan Mallery, Lori Foster, BJ Daniels and Linda Lael Miller. I just the way they write.

  95. Cindy Hamilton

I’ve read so many good books this past year, I can not pick just one!

  96. Randi Greene

I would have to say Meet Mr. G By January Rain because it was her first book or for me to but and I’m so proud of her!

  97. Jami Birnbaum

The first one that comes to mind is The Nightingale by Kristin Hannah. But I read a ton of fantastic books this year that it’s really hard to pick just one…

  98. Mari

The one that I’m going with is by Elle Boon, her Wolf series. I loved it and it was something that I normally don’t read.

  99. Linda May

Favorite book of 2015 is A Moment To Love by Jennifer Faye. As soon as I started reading it I didn’t want to put it down.

  100. Melinda

A hard decision…I’ll have to go with Michelle Smart’s The Perfect Cazorla Wife. Memorable and emotional, like many of the HPs.

  101. Texas Book Lover

It’s impossible for me to pick just one…I had about twenty five star reads this year.

  102. Diane Sallans

Mary Balogh’s 2015 books from her Survivor series – Only a Primise & Only a Kiss – love that series!

  103. eawells

My favorite book this year was If You Only Knew by Kristan Higgins. I wasn’t sure how Kristan would do writing outside of romance, but Higgins didn’t lose her talent at making me laugh and cry while reading this book.

  104. ladyvampire

So many good books came out this year. But I’m currently enjoying books by authors like Faith Hunter and Chloe Neill this year.

  105. Crystal Young

That is really hard I have read a lot of great books this year. I actually have 4 that is a series Trial Series: Trial By Moon, trial by Thrall, Trial by Blood and Trial by Heart by Lizzy Ford. They have a little of everything and there was some great twist and turns.

  106. Linda Herold

If I could only pick one I guess it would have to be Janet Evanovich’s latest Stephanie Plum!!

  107. Ada

Sarah Morgan’s First Time In Forever tops my 2015 list not only because I love the title since it reminds me of the song from Frozen but because she is such a great writer. I couldn’t help but fall in love with Puffin Island and Emily and Ryan’s story.

  108. lrhubble

That is a very hard question to answer. There were several I read this year that could easily top the list. Reckonings by Cynthia Eden, The Harvest by N W Harris, Remember Mia by Alexandra Burt, The Girl on the Train by Paula Hawkins and The Girl Without a Name by Sandra Block. I could easily add a number more too.

  109. kermitsgirl

Only A Kiss by Mary Balogh (I feel like this has been my answer for most of these posts). The book is amazing. I’ve even been recommending it to people who don’t normally read historical romances, because I thought it was just that great.

  110. Kris Saluga

I have to say either Yasmine Galenorn’s Autumn Thorns or Tricky Twenty Two by Janet Evanovich

  111. sylve T.

Break by Kelley Harvey because it had the perfect combination of action, romance and SCIFI!

  112. Jen B

A Deep and Dark December by Beth Yarnell was great, I listened to the audio version, which is very well done.

  113. Michelle Monroe

More than Enough! Because Jay McLean rocks!!! Ty for the chance. Happy New Year!

  114. Kelly D

The Book of Aron would top my list because it was written well and I like books about history.

  115. Elizabeth T.

It’s too difficult to only decide on one book, so a few of my favorites from this year include: Why Not Me, Heat Exchange, Playing Dirty, and all Jill Shalvis’ new books!

  116. tlrosado

I hate choosing “The Best.” It’s like asking me which one of my children is my favorite. Ugh! Therefore, I am creating a three-way tie between Kristen Ashley’s, Sweet Dreams; Katherine Reay’s, Dear Mr. Knightley; and Penny Reid’s, Beauty and the Mustache. They are all romances, but quite different in scope. All my favorite, but for entirely different reasons.

  117. Joanne B

The Rock Kiss series by Nalini Singh. I love strong, Alpha men who know what they want.
