  1. Sonia

I also do the Goodreads reading challenge and this year I’ve read 60 books.

  2. Athena Graeme

I don’t have book goals, it’s not the quantity but the quality I’m after. I usually read 10 to 30 a year. I wish it were more, but I’m so busy. I have to make that book time count!

        • Shannon Capelle

I try to do the goodreads challenge but dont always keep up with that as much as my book reading log i have each year. I read 67 books this year for 2022

  3. EC

There’s two reading goals that transfers every year, and one that changes depending on a certain criterion. Thus far, I had read at most 150 literary works.

  4. Marsha Graniel

Yes! I didn’t reach my goal this year. I stopped at 54, but I will push myself for more books.

    • Leeza Stetson

I do set a goal each year. This year or was 60 books, but I exceeded it and read 80. I might sneak in another book or two before the end of the year.

  5. Nicole (Nicky) Ortiz

I do, my goal this year was 250 I just made it. With two more days I know I will be adding at least two more books before New Years.

    Thanks for the chance.

  6. kim hansen

No I don’t do annual reading goals. I don’t count the number of books I read.

  7. Audrey Stewart

I set a goal and then I lose interest in keeping count. I know I read every day.

  8. Jennifer Shiflett

I set my Goodreads challenge for 200, and I’ve read 207. I try not to go overboard with my goal each year because you never know what will happen.

  9. Pamela Conway

No I don’t have a reading goal. Not sure how many books I read, but it was a lot!!

  10. Janine

I have never kept reading goals. Looking back on my Goodreads review list, it looks like I have read 62 books this year.

  11. Anita H.

I didn’t set a reading goal this year. While I didn’t have a specific number in mind, I definitely didn’t read as many books as I wanted to. Hopefully that changes next year!

  12. Jana Leah

I don’t have reading goals, but I do participate in some themed reading challenges. I’m not sure how many books I read each year. It’s probably at least 100.

  13. Patty Fontenot Duplechin

I read as many as I can. I do keep track on Goodreads. I’ve read 92. Happy New Year

    • Dianne Casey

I don’t set a reading goal for the year, but I do keep track of the books I’ve read. I’ve read approximately 40 books in 2022.

  14. Natasha Persaud

I do not ever read as much as I like to. 2022 my goal is 40. I barely managed to reach it. I read 41 books

  15. Marcy Meyer

I always do the Goodreads reading challenge. I am at 227 books right now, and I should finish at least 2 more before Saturday at midnight.

  16. Latifa Morrisette

I always do the Goodreads reading challenge. I ended up read 300 books

  17. Barbara Bates

I read as many books as I can. Don’t keep track of how many. Maybe about 40 books this year.

  18. Laurie Gommermann

I normally don’t keep track just read anytime I have some free time. I know I read 25 from October 1- December 25.

Thanks for the opportunity to win some wonderful prizes. Appreciate it!

  19. Sue G.

I had a goal of 90, so far I’m at 78. Ended up watching my grandson for a month that took away some reading time.

  20. Karina Angeles

I always aim high for my reading goal. I try to read 2 books a month. Unfortunately, I only read 7 books this year.

  21. Ellen C.

No, I don’t set reading goals or challenges. I have always enjoyed reading and do some reading every day. Some weeks I read one book, others three or four.

  22. SusieQ

I shoot for about 150 a year. Came up short this year, since I took up a new hobby.

  23. Kathleen O

211 and I am not finished yet, It could be 212 or 213. I am reading a book on my Kindle and I have a paperback i am finishing up with. I am over my Goodreads challenge by 28%.

  24. Elizabeth H.

I do the Goodreads reading goal. I set my goal for 100 and read 85. I had a lot of ups and downs this year so I’m claiming this a victory! Thank you for the awesome giveaways!

  25. Denise

I do the Goodreads reading goals, but I always set it low with the intention to exceed it.

I set it at 25 and read more than 50.

  26. eawells

I do the Goodreads challenge and according to them I’ve read 336 books so far.

  27. Diane Sallans

I keep a record of books I’ve read by author, not chronologically be date so I don’t know how many I’ve read in 2022 – probably at least 50.

  28. Glenda M

I’m awful about updating on Goodreads but I track using my Kindle app and a mental list of paper books. Right now I’m at 223.

  29. Latesha B.

Usually, I read any and all books I can get my hands on. This year I wanted to read 200 books but will only make 141. Next year, I will hit the 200 mark.

  30. Trudy Dowling

I use Goodreads Reading Challenge to keep track. I have read 528 books this year.

  31. Banana cake

I always do the goodreads reading challenge, I’ve read 110 books this year and next year I hope to read 150.

Yes! This year my goal was 100 books & I read 112. I’m thinking next year I’ll go for another 100. 🙂

  33. kaisquared4

I don’t keep exact track or do goal setting, but I read between 20 and 30 books/week.

  34. Jen K

I set a goal of 100 books and finished around 80. I got into a serious slump during November and December or else I think I’d have made it.

  35. Morgan Van Lier

I do the Goodreads Challenge every year. I read 137 books this year.

  36. Sandy Kelly

I have been sick so much this year that I didn’t meet my goal. First time I didn’t even come close!

  37. Michelle Pierce

I do the Goodreads Challenge. My goal this year was 100 and I read 103

  38. Diana Hardt

I don’t do annual reading goals. I don’t keep count of the books I read during the year.

I track on GR. My goal is 150. I’m down by 1 1/2 books, so I will make it! 🙂

  40. Mary Preston

No, annual reading goals, but since I can read a book in a day, (I’m a very fast reader) I read a LOT of books.

  41. Kimberly Hamric

No annual goals, but when I find a series I like I will binge read :D. I would like to go back to reading at least a book every 2 weeks though.

  42. Kristina Staiano

I do an annual reading goal through Goodreads and tried for my highest year yet. Have read 309 of my 300 and should have one more by the end of tomorrow!

  43. Kristina Staiano

Have read 309 of my highest goal of 300 on Goodreads and should hopefully finish one more before tomorrow night!

  44. Kim Brewing

I have only missed one year of participating in the Goodreads challenge. This year I’ve read 71 books

  45. Patricia B.

I try to do annual goals, but like New Year’s Resolutions, they don’t often come to fruition. We did pretty well with goals for a long time, but age and health issues are getting in the way more often. Ii am not reading anywhere nearly as much as I have in the past. There has been so much to do it leaves less time for reading. In addition, eye issues have become a problem.
There are some giveaways here that are a bit too hot for me to handle. The I would like are: 1, 5, 8, 9, 10.

  46. Janie McGaugh

I try to read at least as many as the previous year. It looks like I’ll end up at 302 books for 2022, which is an increase from 2021.

  47. Linda F Herold

I use Goodreads to keep track of the books I read. I shoot for over 100 per year! I hit my goal for 2022!

  48. Irma Jurejevčič

I use GR reading challenge. I’ve read my 150th book last night and have successfully completed my challenge with it. I’m setting up a goal of 150 books in 2023 as well.

  49. Tiffany J

I do on Goodreads. I think I’m ending at 74 books read this year, which is low for me but much busier at work this past year. I will do it again for 2023.

  50. Cheryl Hastings

I don’t set goal, but this year I read 535 books! I doubt I’ll reach that again this year, as I just started a new job, but I’m pretty sure I’ll read at least half that.

  51. jlindahlj

I don’t do any challenges and I have been reading only when I go to bed so I onbly got through 10 books this year

  52. pc

No goal for me… book/reading is such a pleasure that I don’t set limits. Life is too short for that! (This year it’s probably 500+)

  53. Shannon Sheets

I do not have a reading goal. I read a lot and listen to a lot.

  54. veRONIca

I do usually set a goal on Goodreads, but just let my reading take me where it will. Sometimes I surpass my goal, other times I’m not even close.
This year I read about 40 books

  55. Sandy McMahon

I don’t usually set reading goals. I believe I’ve read over 150 books in 2022.

  56. Sunnymay

I set tiny reading goals and always have a book with me for any spare moment or two. I read around 2 books a week and love reading before falling asleep.
