A sneak peak at some of SMP Romance’s Most Anticipated Releases of 2022:
We are very excited for what’s to come in 2022, and here are five titles that we cannot wait to share with readers in the coming year!
Bad Luck Bridesmaid by Alison Rose Greenberg – 1/11/22
When Zoey Marks turns down a proposal from her perfect All-American boyfriend, she and Rylan are both left heartbroken. Enter Hannah Green: Zoey’s best friend, who announces that she’s marrying a guy she just met in Ireland. Zoey accepts her role and vows to get Hannah down the aisle—all the while praying her best friend’s wedded bliss will allow her to embrace marriage and get Rylan back. But as the weekend goes on, Zoey is plagued with more questions than answers. Can you be a free spirit, yet still want a certain future? Can you have love and be loved on your terms? And how DO you wrangle a bossy falcon into doing your bidding?
Good Girl Complex by Elle Kennedy – 2/1/22
When Mackenzie “Mac” Cabot moves to the beachside town of Avalon Bay and meets local bad boy Cooper Hartley, their friendship soon becomes the realest thing in her life. Despite his disdain for the trust-fund kids he sees coming and going from his town, Cooper soon realizes Mac isn’t just another rich clone and falls for her. Hard. But as Mac finally starts feeling accepted by Cooper and his friends, the secret he’s been keeping from her threatens the only place she’s ever felt at home.
A Brush with Love by Mazey Eddings – 3/1/22
Harper is anxiously awaiting placement into a top oral surgery residency program when she crashes (literally) into Dan. Harper would rather endure a Novocaine-free root canal than face any distractions, even one this adorable. But as they get to know each other better, Harper fears that trading fillings for feelings may make her lose control and can’t risk her carefully ordered life coming undone, no matter how drool-worthy Dan is.
Fake It Til You Bake It by Jamie Wesley – 6/21/22
Jada Townsend-Matthews is the most reviled woman in America after turning down a proposal on a reality dating show. When she comes home to lick her wounds, Jada finds herself working at San Diego’s newest cupcake bakery, Sugar Blitz, alongside the uptight owner and professional football player Donovan Dell. When a reporter mistakenly believes Jada and Donovan are an item, they realize they can use the misunderstanding to their advantage to help the bakery and rehabilitate Jada’s image. Faking a relationship should be simple, but sometimes love is the most unexpected ingredient.
Bet on It by Jodie Slaughter – 7/12/22
The first time Aja Owens encounters the man of her dreams, she’s having a panic attack in the frozen foods section of the Piggly Wiggly. The second time, he’s being introduced to her as her favorite bingo buddy’s semi-estranged grandson. From there, all it takes is one game for her to realize that Walker Abbott is definitely going to be a problem. A hastily made bingo-based sex pact is supposed to keep this…thing between them from getting out of hand. Especially when submitting to their feelings means disrupting their carefully balanced lives. But emotions are just like bingo callers—they refuse to be ignored.
