I loved making cookies and fudge with my mom. So now when we visit her out of state, she bakes with my kids. I love how it continues down.

In our family, we still do stocking stuffers among the adults. Wherever you sit for Christmas Eve dinner is your place for Christmas Day Breakfast! We buy little things all year long.. little flashlights, goofy stuff, anything that makes you think of the family during the year. Such as, we like The Christmas Story, so when I saw the Leg Lamp as a night light… I knew I had to have it to give at Christmas… favorite candies, samples of cool stuff… anything fun!

decorating the Christmas tree, b/c its a little bit of a walk down memory lane as we hang favorite ornaments

I love to see the excitement on the faces of children. My grandchildren and the children of friends and family all share those smiles and laughter. How could it not fail to make everyone happy?!

    Merry Christmas to all!

Filling the Christmas stockings for all the kids and grandkids. Next would be their expressions on their faces when they dump them out to find their surprises!!

Filling our Christmas stockings with little things that will be fun and that my husband and son wouldn’t think of getting themselves–I love trying to find stuff that is special.

This year it was finally getting the power back on Christmas evening! We had to cook Christmas dinner on the grill and we were minus dessert, veggies and rolls but we had ham and potatoes 🙂 and everyone was happy!

We enjoy the Christmas nativity story on hayrides at our son’s church. We all ride the hayride to each portion of the story of Jesus, then have hot chocolate while the littles play on the slides and pet the animals in the petting zoo. It’s a wonderful Christmas tradition and I’m so glad we take part in it.

  16. Diane Sallans

we enjoy going to our town’s Christmas Eve carol sing around the green – this year was unseasonably warm.

  17. Jenny Dauksa Schaber

My mother only baked sugar cookies twice a year (Halloween and Christmas) and fudge once a year (Christmas), despite everyone always begging her for them during other times of the year. After she passed away when I was 19, it’s a tradition I’ve continued.

Gathering together at my mom’s house with family, friends, & loved ones making memories while enjoying food & drink is by far the best part of the holiday season for me!!! Thanks so much for the opportunity to win & good luck to all who enter!!! Happy Holidays to all!!!:)

  22. Michelle T.

What is your favorite Christmas / Holiday tradition(s)?

My kids are grown and have families and have started their own traditions. I live alone so I don’t do much in the way of decorations. I usually cook a dish to take to dinner with one of the kids. I guess that is the tradition now, I don’t host or cook big dinners anymore. I leave that to the kids!

It’s just fun being with family and having good conversation especially with the grandkids! They are a hoot!

My favorite holiday tradition is attending the Christmas Eve service at our church. It always puts me in the right frame of mind for truly celebrating Christmas.
