Berkley Romance gave to me…A chance to win Five of Berkley’s most anticipated 2024 romances!
Here’s a sneak peak at Berkley Romances Most Anticipated Releases of 2024:
THE BREAKUP TOUR by Emily Wibberley, Austin Siegemund-Broka (Berkley Trade Paperback Original; January 23, 2024)
From the acclaimed authors of The Roughest Draft and Do I Know You?, Wibberley and Siegemund-Broka, comes a second chance, celebrity romance perfect for Swifties and fans of Daisy Jones and the Six. When superstar Riley Wynn’s is given a second chance with her college boyfriend—who also happens to be the muse behind her hit song—their past comes rushing back and she remembers things all too well…
HAPPILY NEVER AFTER by Lynn Painter (Berkley Trade Paperback; March 12, 2024)
Their name? The objectors. Their job? To break off weddings as hired. Their dilemma? They might just be in love with each other. But love isn’t real…right? The Wedding Crashersmeets No Strings Attached in this riotous new romcom from Lynn Painter (The Love Wager). After Sophie Steinbeck hires professional objector Max to call off her wedding to her cheating fiancé, she decides she’d like in on the action and starts taking on objecting jobs with Max. Sophie and Max are convinced that love isn’t real, but between objecting gigs, early morning jogs, and (totally meaningless) hookups, they find it harder to ignore the insane chemistry and maybe-something-more building between them.
WHEN I THINK OF YOU by Myah Ariel (Berkley Trade Paperback Original; April 16, 2024)
Debut novelist Myah Ariel is already being compared to such romance superstars as Jasmine Guillory, Kennedy Ryan, and Carley Fortune. Her book WHEN I THINK OF YOU is a winning celebration of Black love and joy—one that doesn’t gloss over the realities of being Black in America. Two former classmates from film school find themselves thrown together again: he’s an A-list director whose passion project has been greenlighted and she’s a producer-in-the-making whose dreams have been delayed by a studio system that refuses to see her value. With a satisfying, and satisfyingly complex, love story at its center, the novel delves into the resilience of Black women and Hollywood’s tendency to devalue and take advantage of young women and BIPOC creatives.
A LOVE LIKE THE SUN by Riss M. Neilson (Berkley Trade Paperback; June 11, 2024)
From award-winning YA author Riss M. Neilson comes a heart-clenching adult debut summer romance with a Hallmark movie plot perfect for fans of women’s fiction and romances like those of Carley Fortune, Jasmine Guillory, and Kristina Forest. Exploring themes of mental health, racial identity, grief, and finding love with a chronic illness, the story follows Laniah and Isaac, two lifelong friends who enter a fake-dating relationship during one fateful summer in Providence to save Laniah’s failing natural hair-care business. Isaac is sure his internet fame will boost business for Laniah, but all too soon the lines between real and pretend begin to blur, and it becomes harder to see where friendship ends andsomething more begins.
THE ORNITHOLOGIST’S FIELD GUIDE TO LOVE by India Holton (Berkley Romance Trade Original; July 23, 2024)
Rivals-to-lovers romance? ✔ There’s only one horse? ✔ Enough sapiosexual tension to make one’s reading spectacles a bit foggy? ✔ India Holton, author of the acclaimed Dangerous Damsels novels, once again delivers her signature blend of witty humor, steamy romance, and whimsically outrageous magic in THE ORNITHOLOGIST’S FIELD GUIDE TO LOVE. The story follows rival ornithology professors competing to find the most coveted magical bird in all of England; at stake is the title of Birder of the Year, a cash prize, and most importantly…tenure. As the professors cross paths, they find themselves in both extremely deadly and exceptionally romantic situations that make it impossible to ignore the fierce attraction and swoon-worthy adoration growing between them.
Berkley is home to #1 international bestselling novelists, popular authors of romance and women’s fiction, influential science fiction/fantasy writers, celebrity authors, and leading mystery writers, among others. No matter the reader’s preference, Berkley’s large and diverse list offers something for everyone. https://www.penguin.com/berkley-overview/
