The Tortured Hero by Amy Andrews is a well written and stunning conclusion to The Harley Street series.

Ethan has always intrigued me–right from the first book and I always wanted to read about the tortured hero. He was trying to seek redemption from his destructive and tortured past. He had made more than his share of mistakes and I loved how he reformed himself. Olivia was determined to keep Ethan at a distance because of the unfortunate history they had together. I loved how her past with Ethan made her a much stronger woman and the way she refused to back down at whatever life threw at her. The best part of the book was the medical details and the chemistry between the characters.T here is always some kind of tension between the characters and I could understand their conflict without trying too hard. The circumstances which bring Olivia and Ethan are believable and nothing in the story appears forced.

Overall, The Tortured Hero by Amy Andrews is a must read for every medical romance lover.
