A Prize Beyond Jewels by Carole Mortimer is the second installment in (The Devilish D’Angelos series and tells the story of the middle brother Rafe. It is a well written romance with a good pace and enjoyable chemistry between the main characters.
Rafe is the least likely to fall in love out of the three brothers and is a playboy at heart. Nina is shy but with a rebellious spirit and does not allow anyone to play with her. She has different shades to her personality and is a multi dimensional character. The mystery surrounding Nina’s family is fully revealed in the end and is quite unexpected. The romance is hot and the converations are enjoyable. There is a fair amount of inner dialogue too which helped me to understand both the characters.
Overall, A Prize Beyond Jewels is a well written, enjoyable romance and a wonderful addition to The Devilish D’Angelos.Recommended for the fans of Carole Mortimer and the Devilish D’Angelos trilogy.
