Wow, Baby It’s Cold Outside (Men at Work #1) by HelenKay Dimon grabs you right from the start and the emotional roller coaster never lets up. The two main characters, Thea Marshall and Linc Campbell, have amazing chemistry and their story is replete with lust, loathing and love. Ms. Dimon is an excellent storyteller and her words kept me captivated from beginning to end.

BICOAbout four months ago, Linc Campbell, president of Campbell Construction, hired Thea Marshall as his personal assistant. From day one the office staff trusted her and her job performance was beyond exemplary. As time passed, the sexual tension between she and Linc continually evolved. Of course fraternization is frowned upon, but they finally gave in to their passions as Linc takes Thea in his office. Their one steamy evening of bliss, ends up being more than just a one night stand. A wowza of a first chapter!

The following day, Linc fires Thea for cause, in front of many of the office staff. She is humiliated and embarrassed as security walks her out of the building. Due to the overwhelming evidence collected by Linc’s security firm, Linc believes that Thea stole important documents and passed them along to his company’s competition. Unfortunately, Linc never explained to Thea why she was being fired, nor did he give her the chance to dispute any of the evidence. On that day, Linc broke her both physically and mentally.

When Thea’s parents passed away, she inherited their cottage in upstate New York. So, in order to recoup and think about her future, she sublets her apartment and moves upstate. With everything that she has gone through, she still has strong feelings for Linc. Ironically, Linc can’t get Thea off of his mind and overtime, he has a gut feeling that Thea may be innocent. So he ends up on Thea’s doorstep with hope that they can resolve the past and hopefully build a future together. Linc is certainly asking a lot considering what he put Thea through, however, he cannot get her out of his head and he believes he is love with her. At Thea’s cottage, secrets are divulged, friends are disowned and a lively future awaits for both Thea and Linc.

This story is filled with raw emotions from both main characters. When Thea cried, my heart was breaking with her. When Linc got angry, I felt his outrage. Ms. Dimon’s sex scenes are amazingly hot, sexy and passionate. I could not put this book down and read it in less than a day. I highly recommend Baby, It’s Cold Outside to anyone that enjoys a steamy, well-written love story.

He usually gets what he wants. What he wants is her…and all that comes with her.

Men at Work, Book 1

Sex in the office? Lincoln Campbell knows better. His assistant, Thea Marshall, is off limits—until her back hits the door and her clothes come off. The next day brings more than morning-after regrets. It brings damning evidence that Thea stole business secrets.

Three months later, he can’t shake the doubts in his gut, so he heads for Thea’s family cabin by the lake, ready to talk. He’s not ready for the woman who answers the door. She was shapely before…and it won’t be long before she’s a totally different shape.

After Linc escorted her off company property while her protestations of innocence fell on deaf ears, facing off with him now isn’t exactly Thea’s idea of a good time. She needs a few more weeks to plan the drastically different direction her life has taken, but now he’s here—and refusing to leave.

With a storm rolling in and snow piling up, there’s nothing to do but face the past…and try to resist the real man behind the suit.

Warning: A hot businessman who usually gets what he wants. A strong woman who refuses to be pushed around—on the morning after, or any other time. And a cabin where the showdown begins.
