REVIEW: Back to Claim His Italian Heir by Kate Hewitt

Back to Claim His Italian Heir is Kate Hewitt‘s July 2023 exciting new release.

I love a dramatic beginning and this story commenced with drama, drama, drama. When “I do” rings through the church, it’s not Emma who’s uttering the words, it’s her ex-husband who’s presumed dead. Nico is fuming to find Emma about to marry another man. Sure their marriage was brief but was he imagining their connection? Absolutely not, he thought. It was the thought of Emma that saved him, there is no way he’s mistaking that surely?

Once Emma delivers her news, Nico swings into action. There is no way his child is being raised without him but together they must face their past and all misconceptions weaved by ingenuine family to bring their future into alignment. Can they fall in love again and bring back the passion that was once the axis their worlds sat on?

I adore Kate Hewitt’s writing for her ability to stir emotion with beautifully well placed words and Back to Claim His Italian Heir delivers on this and more. A wonderful second chance story with a twist, complete with a beautiful Epilogue. The detail Kate Hewitt puts in is above and beyond and I really, really enjoyed it.

Thank you Kate, another fantastic Harlequin Presents.
