Bad Boy With Benefits by Cynthia St. Aubin When Marlowe Kane first lays eyes on Law Renaud, she could tell he had bad boy written all over him with the look he gave her. Law’s first interaction with Marlowe is to “save” her from her former fiancé’ Neil.

Marlowe is the numbers person with Kane Foods, her father’s company and has been sent to do an on site in depth audit of the Renaud’s business, 4 Thieves Distillery. 4 Thieves is hoping to have Kane Foods acquire them to further expand the business. Law is very unhappy with Marlowe being around and they literally start out on a bumpy ride as he drives her down a path to the family home.He also decides to teach her the art of ax throwing.It actually helps her blow off some tension.

What also blows off some tension for them both is the instant spark between Law and Marlowe that builds to a night of unbridled passion.

On top of the spicy romance the author offers a deep dive into how the past and family dynamics have a huge impact on the characters present and future. The hero and heroine are fully developed and feel realistic. This is book #3 in The Kane Heirs and is perfect as a standalone.
