Best Enemies Forever by Olivia Hayle: Waking up in Vegas with a hangover from hell is nothing compared to realising that you did the unthinkable and winded up getting drunk married to your mortal enemy! In order to save face but also save the reputation of their companies Gabe and Connie have no choice but to try and convince their families and the media that they are the real deal. The only problem with playing house with your mortal enemy is that you begin to see that they are not so evil all the time, so what happens when acting like your in love with your husband begins to stop feeling like an act?
I love the arranged marriage, enemies to lovers, fake turned real tropes and Best Enemies Forever was the perfect combination of these three tropes plus some incredible steamy banter. This was the kind of book that once you start it, its going to be hard to put it down. There was something very Romeo and Juliet about this book that I have to say that I rather enjoyed, maybe it was just the fact that their families hated each other but whatever it was I liked it!
Connie was a great leading lady, she was strong and confident and I loved that she was not afraid to speak her mind. Though I will say that my heart did hurt for her especially when it came to the way her father and brothers treated her, as the only girl in the family she had to work twice as hard to prove herself. The only person that really saw the real Connie was Gabe, I think this is part of what made me love our hero so much. He constantly supported her even when her own family did not have her back. I really liked Gabe’s character, for all his alpha, bossiness he was actually a really good guy. I just loved the fact that he was the first to realise that the constant zing between him and Connie was more than banter it was love.
I really liked that Gabe and Connie had such a realistic relationship, there was banter and jabs and a slow build up to moving their relationship from fake to real. I also really liked that they had this shared history and that their lives have really always been intertwined. I will say that these two tip toed alone the line of love and hate for most of the book but boy once they cross the line it was explosive!
If you are looking for a steamy hot accidental, fake turned real marriage romance with loads of steam, banter and some angst then Best Enemies Forever is definitely the book for you!

Marrying the man I hate is bad enough. But falling for him? That’ll be the death of me.
Gabriel Thompson and I are like oil and water. Our New York families control two of the nation’s largest companies and the business rivalry is decades old. We’ve carried the torch ourselves since childhood.
But then we bump into each other after a conference in Vegas. Drinks are involved, and he utters the three little words I can’t resist. I dare you. The next morning we wake up hungover, late, and worst of all, married.
It’s a PR disaster. To save our reputations, we have to sell this marriage to the media and to our families. Go to parties. Move in together. Act in love.
Neither of us have ever mentioned that one drunken night in college, when we crossed lines branded into us from birth. I’d assumed he’d forgotten and moved on.
He hasn’t, and he’s determined to show what I’ve been missing. But Gabriel is too confident, too smug, and far too attractive for anything real. I can never let my guard down.
With his ring on my finger, we’re destined to be enemies forever.
Til’ death do us part… unless we kill each other first.
