Butt-dialing the Billionaire by Annika Martin: It all started with a very stuffy call from the new owner of SportyGoCo, all Jada was trying to do was lighten the dull vibe amongst her design team by having a little fun impersonating their new boss, the last thing that anyone of them could have expected was for her little impromptu skit to be live on speaker and for their boss to hear the entire thing! With their new boss on a mission to uncover the butt-dialler and make heads roll in the process, Jada and her team vow to keep it a design team secret.

The last thing Jaxon wants is to be stuck running his parents multiple companies or giving stuffy company addresses the way his father used to, so when her hears someone mocking him, he decides to make it his mission to personally uncover the company clown. Even if it means going undercover as the new lazy gofer, Jack. What was supposed to be a quick in and out mission at SportyGoCo to uncover the butt-dialler soon turns into Jaxon reluctantly finding himself a new family one that has wormed their way onto his closed off heart with the help of their very passionate head-designer Jada. But with SortyGoCo in the clutches of a cruel CEO determined to derail the company can Jaxon finally do the right thing and be the hero instead of playing the villain?

This book was just the perfect light, fluffy, fun read that had just the right amount of spice to keep things interesting. I have just been loving The Billionaires of Manhattan series and this book just made me love it all the more with its quirky cute characters and this cute zingy work place romance. This was the perfect feel good read that will have you smiling from start to end!

Jada was such an amazing character. Her passion for SportyGoCo and determination to keep her work family together was intense in the best way. I loved her drive and zest for life. She was this ball full of love, light and sparkle that only wanted the best for the people she cared for. So to say that Jaxon was her total opposite would be very accurate, well that is until we found the softer side to Jaxon that had been buried deep down. Gosh our hero was just a treat. I love that he was convinced that he was this villain but he was actually the hero all along. I really enjoyed getting to see his character grow and open himself up to life and love. Jaxon’s backstory really broke my heart, I will say that I do wish that there was a bit more clarity on why his parents were the way they were and their hatred for SportyGoCo, nevertheless I liked the way things turned out in the end.

“I was stupid for her—stupid for the taste of her lips, obsessed with the feel of her skin with my palm.”

Jada and Jaxon totally embodied the whole opposites attract trope, these could not be more different even if they tried but gosh this only made their connection all the more sparky. I loved that they went from total hate to this flaming hot love. More than anything I really liked that Jada never gave up hope that Jaxon/Jack could be better.

The secondary characters in the book were just gold! I loved the found family that the SportyGoCo team had built and that they were all in it together, they banded together to protect and support each other. I really liked the way that they even welcomed Jack and all his eccentric clothes and Don Jon charisma. As for Jaxon’s right hand man and butler Arnold, well he was just a sweetie, I loved that he was right there to support Jaxon the entire time even when he needed a bit of tough love. Also the entire failed lunches bit was just hilarious! One of the cutest things about this book was Keith the Cactus! I loved that they all just wanted this huge dried out plant to live and even Jaxon finally warmed to him.

Butt-dialling The Billionaire was such a silly-cute work place romance that will have you giggling from start to end! This book is a total must read!

It was just some silly fun. A goofy imitation of the faceless mega-billionaire who owns our faceless international mega-corporation.

And yes, there was laughter. Possibly a few hoots and screams.

How was I to know that Dave from accounting had sat on the speakerphone, butt-dialing said mega-billionaire? Or that he’d listen to me make fun of him for ten straight minutes.

Ummm…he could’ve announced himself!

They say he’s a notorious rake. A paparazzi-punching scoundrel. An international jet-set bad boy.

And now I hear he’s determined to track down the jokester. Me.

Eep!

But we’re tight like family in this office—no way will my co-workers rat me out, in spite of the pressure from the top. Plus, who brings the cookies? Moi!

Things die down after a few months, and I’m pretty sure I’m safe.

Thank goodness, because I have my hands full with our lazy, arrogant new office gopher. He has the worst work ethic I’ve ever seen—how did he even get hired? He doesn’t know how to work a vending machine, and he’s baffled when we send around a card to be signed for somebody’s birthday. It’s as if he’s never set foot in a place of business in his life.

But little by little, we’re drawing closer. He’s funny. Sexy. Wicked. Still, he’s all wrong for me. I like respectable men with a work ethic.

Also, I can’t shake the feeling that he’s hiding something…
