Captivated by Her Italian Boss by Rosanna Battigelli: Eight years is a long to wait for anything, for revenge, for answers, for love.

Neve Wilder knew her life had changed eight years ago when she fell in love without ever talking to the young man. It also changed when he disappeared out of her life with no reasoning. Now eight years later she was happy with her life for the most part. She was a teacher and yes had an overbearing mother but at least she still had a mom.

Davide Cortese had his life change eight years ago as well. For him it was a reality check and a motivational tool to work harder than he had ever worked before. His heart may have been broken, but not his spirit and thank goodness since a couple of months ago his spirit was tested yet again when his only family died and left him guardianship of his Goddaughter/niece.

When an opportunity to go to Italy comes up Neve can’t help but apply and go back to where she was happy. However when these two realize they are each others pasts will either of them be able to reconcile the past and the present to create the future?

This is an interesting novel from Ms. Battigelli. Overall it was a fast paced novel that keeps the reader entertained. The issue is that the story moves so fast it may cause the reader to question the story line a bit. I think given more time Ms. Battigelli could have taken this story to one AMAZING story. Right now this is a great when you want to a read about overcoming loss, with a side of romance.
