Carrying the Billionaire’s Baby by Susan Meier: 3 weeks of the most vibrant colors of your life. Passion inside and outside the bedroom, but the arguing is just too much so you decide it’s really just too much.
Avery Novak was okay with that decision they were just too different. It was an amazing 3 weeks, but who could take that much arguing for any real length of time? Beside he wasn’t in her plan. He was the exact opposite of her plan. So she could deal without him in the future, right?
Jake McCallan was used to getting what he wanted now. He struggled growing up but man had he overcome it and now he just needed to keep doing what he was doing. He needed to keep growing the company and preserving his legacy. Those three weeks were amazing, but he definitely didn’t need the headache that came with it.
Flash forward five months and now there is another issue. How can two people so different create three cohesive lives?
This was an interesting read. There are flashes of amazingness where you won’t want to put down your reader, but there are also periods where you won’t know if you want to continue. Overall there is a good sense of time and space along with a decent sense of location, but the potential is amazing. The characters are well written but seem to leave a little something out of realism. Overall this is an okay read with the potential for greatness.
