Challenging the Doctor Sheikh by Amalie Berlin is a well written romance and the last part in the duet Desert Docs, this book can be easily read as a standalone.

Dakan and Nira both rediscover their identities while falling in love with each other during the course of the story. They had an amazing chemistry because they were similar in many ways. They both were strong characters with a mind of their own and I loved their interactions and clashes.

The romance is both emotional and passionate with well integrated medical details. I wish there was an epilouge to end this duet and things could have wrapped up a little more smoothly.

Overall, Challenging the Doctor Sheikh by Amalie Berlin is an enjoyable medical romance and a good end to the Desert Docs duet.
