For a short book Count Your Blessings (Curl Up and Dye .05) by Sharon Sala has a lot going for it.
This is the story of a little town calling Blessings, Georgia where everyone knows everyone, and nobody can keep a secret. It is about women standing together and giving their men a run for their money.
When the preachers wife catches her husband cheating on her with the town tramp , she takes matters into her own hands, shaving the tramp bald and kicking her husband to the curb. This causes ever man in town to sit up and take notice because their meek and mild wives are not going to be control any more, they are on a mission to find out just what secrets their husbands are hiding.
This little novella has a lot going for it and shows the true bonds of friendship and empowerment. There is so much I could say about this book, but it would give away alot of the story and I would rather just say that I laughed out loud and felt lighter when this book was done.
