Faking It by Stefanie London: Going undercover sounds both fun and scary, right? After all it meant a step forward. One where people could boost their careers, right?

Hannah Anderson kept telling herself that. It wasn’t like she didn’t want to do it, but to go under cover with a man who made her crazy who she might still have just a little bit of a crush on? Oh and she couldn’t even begin to think about the fact that they would be going under cover as man and wife, where might that lead?

Owen Fletcher did not get close to people. It didn’t end well for anyone when he did. At least that was what experience had taught him. He needed to keep running but that didn’t mean he didn’t care. So yes when his old boss asked him to come back and go under cover on a project he was going to. He was going to get the bad guys and run again… without anyone getting hurt, right?

Undercover as man and wife when there is serious chemistry? That isn’t tempting fate at all… lol

Ms. London has given her readers a story with great bones. As a reader I do wish there was a little bit more meat to some of the story. As a DARE book I wish there was a little more heat to the story as well. However the backstory that does get put out there is tugging and really helps to move the story. It’s a quick read, a happy in the long run read, and while not my favorite London book it is still a London and therefore worth the read.

Our marriage is fake…but the chemistry between us is dangerously real!

Owen Fletcher is the most irritating man I’ve ever met…and the hottest fantasy I’ve never forgotten. Now we’re going undercover as husband and wife to break up a ring of jewel thieves. Getting up close and personal with Owen is messing with my professional focus, but there is a solution: one night to explore the red-hot chemistry that’s threatening to combust at any moment…
