Falling For Her Secret Billionaire by Rebecca Winters: Dr. Francoise Valmy is about to finish up her medical stint in Nice. She meets a military veteran who comes in saying he feels like he is dying and is depressed over losing his best friend in war. Dr. Valmy is able to help with once tests reveal he’s not dying right now, but has a fairly rare blood disease that can be treated by taking pints of blood from him over time. The veteran gives his name as Robert and is told to make another appointment for further treatment.

“Robert” doesn’t make that appointment. He is actually Jean-Louis Causcelle, one of the famous Causcelle triplets. He left his brother and father behind about a decade ago due to family issues. His brothers finally find him to let him know that their father is quite ill. Jean-Louis returns to Paris to assess the situation and decide what he needs to do.

Francoise ends up in Paris, too, with a crisis involving family of her own. She’s more than a little shocked when Jean-Louis shows up at her door and she realizes who he really is. They both feel a strong attraction. Can there be a future for them with all the issues surrounding Jean-Louis?

The romance in this lovely story is PG rated with love scenes not elaborated on and in the background. I felt great admiration for Francoise from the start. Yes, she’s in a caring profession, but she goes the extra mile. It’s easy to see how she is captivated by the handsome Jean-Louis. He has had his own reasons to become estranged from his family. It was heartwarming to see he could finally reconcile and form a bond again, I was also impressed how he used his wealth to do good for others less fortunate.

I was able to use my high school French is reading some of the phrases in this novel. The medical condition was familiar to me since many years ago I worked in a hospital and performed the same procedure as Dr. Valmy.

Falling For Her Secret Billionaire is another charming story by author Rebecca Winters. It’s #2 in a series and works well on its own. Of course, I always recommend that readers grab all the books in a series to truly enjoy them.
