Forbidden to Her Spanish Boss by Susan Stephens had me from the first page. I thought the 
story had rich and wonderful layers that had me feeling for both Rose and Raffa and the pages flying. The story started immediately and continued to gather speed at an exciting pace.
Head Groom Rose knows her place so it’s hard to fight against the feelings growing for her boss Raffa, all the more so when he decides it’s time they do something about those feelings. Proving her professional worth is effortless to the naturally sunny and extremely warm natured Rose and as Head Groom she accompanies Raffa to some important events. The banter and humour they share together is infectious and as a reader, I was fully invested in their journey. When the lead up to their attraction simmering over is brilliantly written and the paths they take to be together has just the right emotion with their shared goal of family loyalties shining through.
Susan Stephens has written a beautiful story. I loved the feel of the words, I loved the differences of the two characters, I loved the slow burn captured perfectly, I loved they were good people and family loyalty were their common goal, I loved how they naturally liked each other and how they just had to overcome what the world threw at them rather than conflict between the two. Emotion was conveyed perfectly, the touch of the horses world was captured well and the locations were all beautifully described, it was like I was there myself
