Her Big Sky Cowboy by Alissa Callen: Fighting for words and fighting for trust might just take all the fight out of her.
Trinity Redfern had always been rooting for the underdog. She was always drawn to helping those who couldn’t speak for themselves so when she meets Finn who was having some problems finding his words it was only natural that she would want to help.
Zane Nash didn’t trust, after all no one in his life had ever given him reason to. This of course made loving hard, except for one person, Finn. Finn he loved more than anything in this world and he would do anything for his little man.
When the opportunity arose for Trinity to stay at the ranch for the summer to help Finn increase his speech and get ready for school in the fall it was no surprise when they both agreed. They loved him and would just have to get over the whole attraction thing, right? After all that could only end badly, or could it be the start to something amazing?
In a few short pages Ms. Callen has taken us back to Marietta and into an interesting world of deceit and lies. While the story is good, it is more a sweet romance than anything sultry. I wish there would have been more romantic development, but the human development was great.
Her Big Sky Cowboy by Alissa Callen is a good read for anyone who is interested in a quick, short, sweet, family friendly romance.
