He lifted her into his arms, carrying her towards the door. There was no need for words as he carried her upstairs. They were both intent on giving in to the magic of the moment. There was no need to justify his actions or her compliance. Life was too precious to banish moments like this. There was no yesterday, no tomorrow, simply the present moment.
In Her Miracle Twins by Margaret Barker is a well written story about two individuals whose relationship start with a pregnancy of convenience but slowly becomes much more intimate and serious. Both Chantal and Michel had lost someone important in the past and were hurt emotionally due to the same. The story was about how they both find true love in each other through their twin babies.
This was a good story overall with enough medical details but it was lacking in emotion at times. The characters shared amazing chemistry at times but then there were also some “cold” moments between them where I just couldn’t feel their passion. I haven’t read many romances where the relationship starts with a pregnancy of convenience so this story was different in its theme to me.
Overall Her Miracle Twins by Margaret Barker is a well written medical romance with a nice theme and story. It has some good moments but I just wanted more emotions from the characters.

I love a book with a plot like this because I am always hoping there will be an HEA and twins are such an extra blessing.

You are right the moment when they come to know about the twins is truly one of the best highlights of the story.
It sure is a blessing..:)
