Her Summer With The Brooding Vet by Scarlet Wilson: Aurora has been working as a vet nurse in a practice that serves many types of animals. The founder of the practice has died and the vet in charge is in treatment for cancer. Aurora wonders who will be the vet to fill in until things are back to normal?

She is more than concerned when Eli shows up to take over his late father’s practice. He certainly doesn’t seem happy to be in the situation. He gives off the “cold pricklies”. He does seem to be excellent with the animals.

Slowly, Eli realizes that Aurora is very intelligent and capable. He does tell her he is only around for the summer until a new vet can be found for the practice.
Aurora has a past she hides from most people. She has tried to protect herself by changing her career path and living in a small rural area. You have to admire her determination to go back to school and work hard. Her huge love of animals shows through.

Eli has his own issues to deal with and doesn’t want to settle down in one place. Can Aurora and the other residents of the area show him he is loved and respected?
If you are an animal lover this novel will warm your heart. Yes, there is romance and dealing with serious issues. I fell in love with the animal sequences as well as the characters. This books is another winner for author Scarlet Wilson.
