Holiday with the Millionaire by Scarlet Wilson: Ever have one of those moments where nothing is going right and then all of a sudden things start to look up? Yep it’s hard to trust those to, right?

Lara Callaway knew all about that. It seemed she had some sort of magnetism for trouble. Or at least for people who were looking out for everyone other than her. What’s a girl to do though? This time she was going to do it and she was going to do it in her terms, until he knocked down her walls. Now with shields lowered would she be proved right or would he take her out again?

Reuben Tyler knew Lara was not the kind of girl he should get involved with. She was a good girl. The kind of girl most people would settle down with. He wasn’t that kind of guy though. He was a couple of nights a week maybe, so what was he going to do with this forever type?

Would Reuben and Lara be able to work it out/through? Or would the lack of words, the lack of sharing really be the end of the end?

Ms. Wilson does an amazing job of telling the story of two people who are nothing alike on the outside but are the best matched on the inside. This was one of those kinds of stories where the people are so real, the plot actually incredibly believable and the love so palatable you can feel it through the pages. It’s not hot and heavy but it’s real and full of heartfelt emotions. Do yourself a favor and relax into this heartwarming story.
