i-see-youI See You by Molly McAdams: Aurora had no idea how complicated her life would become by simply going to a party. Rorie is your typical good girl who plays by the rules. But with college graduation looming, she decides to let loose. With one night to throw her own rules out the window, she meets Jentry. Jentry is sexy, intense, controlled, and protective. He’s not looking for a relationship and he’s very much up-front about that. They agree to one night, but it’s a night that neither can forget.

Rorie can’t live her life hoping to run into Jentry again. She has to move on and is swept off her feet by Declan. Declan is a smooth, charming, and perfect on paper. Declan is the guy you want to bring home to meet your family.

“I lost both shoes. I don’t care what Disney said, a girl can’t run away very easily with only one shoe.”
His smirk stretched to match my smile, and he dipped his head close. “Then I’m keeping the other one that hit the back of my head.”

Rorie and Declan seem like a great fit. They have chemistry, a great relationship, and he treats her really well. Rorie thinks she knows what she wants until the day that Jentry unexpectedly reappears. Both are shocked to see each other. Rorie has to choose between two really good and sexy men.

“I’ve always seen you.”
I released his hand to place mine on his chest, and whispered, “Just as I have always seen you. Nothing about what you told me has changed anything.”
The corners of his mouth lifted, then fell. “It doesn’t matter, because we both know what happens from here.”

I See You is emotional, messy, angsty, complicated, and unexpected love triangle that leaves you wanting more. Molly McAdams created complicated and engaging characters who have to deal with an impossible situation. Ms. McAdams keeps the surprises coming as you’re shifted between the past, the more immediate past, and present. While this is very effective and keeps the reader on their toes, it can also be a little tricky to keep the events in order since they don’t unfold chronologically. Fans of Abbi Glines, Jasinda Wilder, and Colleen Hoover will enjoy I See You.

Futures are uncertain, unpredictable—like ink spilled across the purest surface. Nearly imperceptible ripples move and flow until a unique stain is formed. The ink is permanently imbedded in the surface…

During one wild night in college, Jentry Michaels is a tidal wave of ink that brands Aurora Wilde’s soul. An unparalleled stain she can’t forget despite the many months that have passed—and despite the distraction she’d hoped she would find in her new relationship with Declan, the charmer who captured her heart soon after. Jentry has irrevocably touched her soul, and he is intertwined in her present and future in ways she never fathomed. Now Aurora is faced with keeping that night hidden though it feels as if the ink has indelibly etched their story across her skin.
