Just Say Yes by Lena Hendrix: The very last thing that MJ needs in her life now is to get tangled with Logan, the hottie rugby player who just so happens to be her ex-boyfriends best friend. Talk about a recipe for awkwardness… with her life all but crumbling around her MJ needs to keep her wits about herself and definitely not get distracted by the powerful rugby thighs and smooth words from Logan. However even the best of plans have flaws and MJ has just realised the biggest flaw in her plan to stay away from Logan is the fact that she really doesn’t want to stay away from him… especially when he keeps telling her to just say yes…

“I meant what I said. Slow is good. That way, if I ever do get to have you, I’ll know I’ve earned you.”

I just loved this book to bits, right from the very awkward first meeting MJ and Logan had me in giggles and this did not stop anytime soon. As far as slow burn, small town romances go this was one of the good ones and really the perfect way to end one incredible series! If you are anything like me and following allowing with all the King siblings then you know that MJ’s book has been a long awaited delight and Just Say Yes did not disappoint one bit!

As the youngest of the king siblings MJ has always somewhat been in the background but this is by no means mean that she is boring. Oh no, our girl was an absolute hoot to follow, I loved her witty dry banter and the fact that she was such a carer at heart. MJ was compassionate, selfless and fiercely devoted to others, simply put she was a total sweet heart. Though after enduring a painful and damaging past relationship, MJ carries the weight of deep insecurities and anxiety, especially when it comes to her inexperience with love, this truly just broke my heart. Knowing how much she struggled in quite only made me love getting to see her finally embracing change and giving Logan a chance.

Now where do I start when it comes to our hero, gosh Logan was just the most perfect guy that could have ever walked into MJ’s life. There really wasn’t anything not to love about this guy, not only was he a total hunk but he was so comfortably in touch with his emotions! I loved the ease in which he navigated his feelings, respecting MJ’s boundaries but still making sure to support her and on top of everything being super charming. I really loved getting a peak into his past and seeing that his past struggles shaped him into this total green flag of a man. Truly Logan was one of the easiest to love heroes in this series and that is saying something because I love the Kings.

“If MJ was anyone’s lucky charm, she was mine.”

Gosh as far as meet cutes go, these two had one heck of an awkward one and I just loved it! What starts as a hilarious misunderstanding escalates into an awkward and cringe worthy situation, with emotions running high, leaving both characters with an unforgettable first impression of one another, truly this was the best bases for what shaped out to be one incredible love story. Right from this first moment the chemistry between these two was clear and gosh was it just perfection getting to see this evolve and unfold as they got to know each other. Their initial insta-fail turns into one beautiful slow burn ball of trust and respect and I loved getting to see this blossom into unconditional love and support. The unwavering belief they have in each other, knowing they’ll always be met with support and love, was so emotionally powerful, added in with a connection of pure trust, was what truly drew me to these two. I loved the fact that neither of them was perfect, instead they used their imperfections to strengthen each other.

As sad as I am to be saying goodbye to the Kings and the cute town of Outtatowner, I really could not have asked for a better book to close out this series. Just Say Yes was the perfect balance between cute, funny, empowering and emotional. If you are like me and a total sucker for a cute small town romance then this book is so definitely for you!

Getting tangled up with an Olympic rugby player seems like the perfect way to forget about how my life is falling apart. Until I discover he’s my ex-boyfriend’s best friend.

Logan Brown walked into my small town with a charming grin and mischief in his eyes. He’s a world-class flirt and his confident masculinity is almost as distracting as those rugby thighs.

Given my inexperienced history, I’m no match for our undeniable chemistry. I vow to keep him at arm’s length. But with Logan, every lingering stare—every forbidden touch—awakens something inside of me I thought I had buried for good.

We both know we shouldn’t cross that line, but I have spent my entire life being a good girl, and suddenly I’m tempted to be very, very bad.

Especially when Logan tells me to just say yes.
