Kiss Me Tonight by Maria Luis: Aspen is returning home to take up the mantle as the new high school football coach. Football runs in her blood and is the family legacy. She was a talented kicker at the high school and collegiate level despite being female. She’s feisty, smart, independent, and a great mom. Her son and coaching were what got her through her terrible marriage until she could get a divorce.

Dominic used football as a motivation to get him through his terrible childhood. He lives to prove everyone wrong and his competitive drive fueled him to be one of the best in the NFL at his position. He’s looking for a fresh start as a football coach after a disastrous stint on a reality dating show and then getting fired from his TV show.

Aspen and Dominic definitely get off on the wrong foot. Between a too candid and awkward encounter at the bar and a mishap in the parking lot, both are taken by surprise to learn they will be coaching together and neighbors. They try to avoid each other to the extent they can, but that’s impossible.

Either way, I rise up on my toes, putting our faces as close together as humanly possible, considering our height difference, and murmur, “Never mention that moment from inside again, and you’ll be set to go.”
His chest shakes with silent laughter. “You’re assuming we’ll be running into each other again.”
“If you’re living in London, we’ll be lucky if we’re not neighbors.”

Their preconceived notions of each other are totally wrong. They see past each other’s walls and challenge each other to go outside of their comfort zone. She’s a firecracker and is always willing to play dirty in their friendly competitions. Living in Maine is temporary for Dominic, but he can’t help but get involved in the team, the town, and especially with his sexy neighbor and boss.

“You’re a piece of work.”
“A work in progress,” I counter with a wink. “Ninety-percent completed, ten-percent chaos.”
She shakes her head, her blond hair falling forward to frame her face. “Ten-percent chaos. There must be something dreadfully wrong with me that that’s the part of you I like best.”
“I’m willing to roll the dice and say that you don’t regret that fact at all.”

Kiss Me Tonight is entertaining and sexy yet heartwarming. Maria Luis developed the characters and relationships with banter, heat, humor, conflict, and surprises. Ms. Luis created a fabulous cast of characters in their friends, the town, and the team. Fans of Piper Rayne, Layla Hagen, and Kate Meader will enjoy Kiss Me Tonight.

I had it all.
The Super Bowl rings.
The hot shot TV gig.

Then I got fired.

Now I’m living in middle-of-nowhere Maine, playing assistant coach to the woman of my nightmares.

Did I mention that she and her son are my new neighbors?

If you talk to the locals, they’ll tell you Aspen Levi is the queen of high school football.
But if you ask me, my new head coach is a pain in my left nut sac.

She’s too blonde.
Too peppy.
And way too sexy for my peace of mind.

Only, one minute we’re fighting, and the next I can’t keep my hands off her. One hot kiss. One forbidden touch. I don’t do love but . . .

What I want, I take, and what I want is Aspen Levi.
