Meet Me at Midnight by Max Monroe: Juniper has a big secret… for the better part of a decade she has been secretly crushing on her bestie Avery’s older brother Beau. With an easy smile, charming chocolate eyes and more charm then is far for one man to have, Beau has been Junipers ideal man, the only problem being Beau has always only seen Juniper as his annoying younger sisters side kick, well this is all about the change, hopefully. You see now that Juniper is working for Avery’s family marketing firm this is the perfect time to show Beau that she is not the silly little girl that he always associates her with, and when their newest client an online dating site rolls out a new anonymous dating app that they want all employees to try out, Juniper realizes this is her best chance to show Beau just how perfect she would be for him…

Just perfection, truly there is nothing about reading a Max Monroe book that I do not absolutely love, these two ladies always deliver on the giggles and swoon. Meet Me At Midnight was the perfect brothers best friend romcom that I have read in a good while, this paired with a bit of work place romance and it was the perfect recipe for a swoony cute read. I loved that this at its core was a cute, easy and sweet read, there was no major drama or angst.

I just loved all the characters in this book, Juniper and Beau were incredible but so was the entire Banks family. This book just had a warmth about it and the close bond that they all shared was more than evident throughout the read. I loved the relationship between Avery and Juniper, these two were the ride or die kind of friends and I just adored all of their moments together. I loved the way Avery brought Juniper into the family and how easily the Banks welcomed her as one of their own. Now for our girl Juniper, well it was hard not to love her character. She was funny, a bit silly, witty and a bit sassy but most importantly a total sweetheart. I loved getting to see her falling in love with Beau through their texts and then getting to see their relationship develop once he realised who he was matched with. I really liked that the app allowed Juni to really feel free to be her true self while chatting with Beau and this allowed him to really get to know her without any preconceived ideas. Now for our hero, well Beau was just as charming as you would expect a Max Monroe hero to be, he said all the right things and gave all the swoon. I loved that he wasn’t this arrogant hero but actually a really sweet guy that had a good relationship with everyone important to him.

I loved the build up between these two, while there was plenty of banter on the app, things between them really started to heat up once they finally met in person. I loved getting to see them sneak around and try to figure out how to introduce their relationship to the family, but really getting to enjoy their time alone. Now there was no third act break up but there was a bit of drama and rivalry between Beau and his former bestie that added a nice change up to all the cuteness that was present throughout the novel. What I did really like was the way Avery handled finding out that her bestie and brother were an item, this felt natural and worked for me. I really can not wait to read Avery’s story next, I have a feeling she is going to be just if not more entertaining!

I loved reading Meet Me At Midnight, this cute best friends brother, office romance was the perfect combination of cute, sweet and a bit sassy. As alway I have to say any Max Monroe book is an automatic must read and this one is no different!

How good are you at keeping a secret?

Because I, Juniper Perry, have been keeping a big one.

For over a decade, I’ve been crushing on the guy with the easy smile, warm brown eyes, and charismatic charm. He’s all the perfect things that, when you add them up, spell out Man of my dreams.

I know that doesn’t sound bad at all, but there’s more to this story…

We work together. I’m a lowly intern, and he’s a high-powered executive.

He’s my newest neighbor. No joke—he’s temporarily living next door to me.

And to top it all off, he’s my best friend’s older brother.

I’ve spent what feels like an eternity keeping my crush on him a secret, but recently, I’ve found a way to have him and my anonymity too. A way to chat and flirt and get close to him.

My best friend doesn’t know about these Midnight chats.

And he doesn’t know I’m the girl he’s talking to night after night.

Beau Banks might be completely off-limits, but what happens at Midnight stays between us…
