Merry Cowboy Christmas (Lucky Penny Ranch #3) by Carolyn Brown  is the third book in the Lucky Penny series. Again, who can resist another HOT Dawson Cowboy who pulls out all the stops to win the heart of yet another of the Logan sisters. This is the story of Jud and Fiona.

Fiona Logan is home for the Holidays. Divorced, professional reputation in ruins due to her ex, and down to her last penny, she come home, looking to regroup, come clean with her family and try to put her life back together. That life has no room for the hotter than he has a right to be, Jud Dawson.

Jud Dawson never expected to be the knight in a big old truck, but that is exactly what happens when he rescues Fiona when her car slid off the side of the road. Now they are not only sharing a ride back to the ranch, they will be sharing very close quarters, across the hall from each other to be exact.

When they start spending more and more time together, working at the ranch and at the store, the spark of attraction turns into a raging inferno. But Fiona has made no secret that she does not want to stay, and Jud is a man who wants to put down roots. Can these two find a happy medium and maybe their hearts desire on the Lucky Penny Ranch?

What I enjoyed the most about Jud and Fiona is that they were both cautious. Fiona felt like she needed to leave, but in her heart of heart, she really started to wish to stay. Jud knew that he wanted Fiona to be part of his life, and he was so open to allowing her to live her dreams, to do what he needed to to make it work. I love that Fiona would not allow Jud to give up his dreams for her. That she was willing to make concessions to insure that she and Jud could have a future together without giving up their dreams made me cheer.

Another amazing addition to the Lucky Penny Series.
