Moonlight on Nightingale Way (On Dublin Street #6) by Samantha Young: Grace is a freelance book editor who enjoys working at night. Her life is pretty good until Logan moves in next door. They immediately get off to a bad start when she hears the activities in his apartment and has unwelcome surprises on her doorstep. Her life and work are frequently disrupted by the sounds from her neighbor.
Logan manages a nightclub and is enjoying his freedom. He’s a sexy and charming playboy who just wants to enjoy uncomplicated pleasure after the last few years. He’s a loyal and protective brother to his sister, Shannon.
Logan and Grace irritate each other from the moment they met. Grace hates confrontations, but with Logan she has no problem voicing her complaints and asking him to be more respectful.
“I only seem to irritate you.” He cocked his head to the side. “I wonder why that is.”
“Because,” I whined, my head lolling with exasperation and tiredness, “I’m sleep deprived, and it’s all your fault, you blood wretched manwhore.”
“Well, this is a whole other side of you. It’s quite unpleasant. I may have to speak to the landlord about it. I can’t take this kind of abuse.”
They start to become a little more friendly when Logan helps Grace out of a difficult situation. When Logan’s world is later thrown upside down, it’s Grace who comes to the rescue. She really steps in and helps Logan to deal with how his life changed so drastically. This also allows Grace to see another side of Logan. That initial irritation really seemed to mask an instant attraction between them that only grows as they begin to spend a lot of time together.
“I really don’t like you right now.”
Logan grinned. “That’s okay. As long as you love me, nothing else matters.”
“You are so arrogant,” I huffed. “Have you always been this arrogant?”
“Don’t confuse arrogance with confidence.”
Moonlight on Nightingale Way is an entertaining, sexy, heartwarming contemporary romance between two characters who have created their own families. There’s humor, tension, anticipation, surprises, and plenty of heat. Moonlight on Nightingale Way can be read as a standalone book while it’s set within the On Dublin Street series.
Samantha Young wrote yet another book that I just didn’t want to put down. Ms. Young provided a great cast of characters, including those from the other books in this series. Fans of Alice Clayton (especially Wallbanger), Jamie MacGuire, and Abbi Glines will love Moonlight on Nightingale Way!!

This was my first book of the series, and it’s not a problem to start this far along in the series. I’m definitely going to read the previous books!
